Between Green Lantern Classics (Assuming the line would return after the movie), and DCUC, what Rainbow Lanterns do you wish to see Mattel make before the GL fad fizzles?
Larfleeze goes without saying. I think the thinner and double jointed body that Black Lantern Abin Sur has would be a great match for him. For Green Lantern Corps- I really would absolutely KILL to see Natu, Salaak, and Isomot. Likewise, Bzzd would be great. Star Sapphire- Fatality, of course, and Miri Riam. Sinestro Corps- I would kill to see a BaF for both Kryb, and Mongul (With a right arm that clips to yellow construct that then connects to the shoulder) Blue Lanterns- Walker, with a BaF Brother Warth Red Lanterns- Bleeze, and a BaF Atrocitus (Nothing less than BaF size will do!) But what I *really* want to see, is a full wave that substitutes a BaF, with the Guardians. Mattel makes a standardized guardian body. But each figure in the wave, instead of a BaF piece, comes with a guardian with a different head. The "Figure stand" figure would be a Guardian 3-pack, of Sayd, Thanthet, and Scar, in Guardian colors, with an equal proportion varient in their Blue and Black Lantern colors.

Are there Black Lantern Elongated Man & Sue Dibny figures?
As far as Sinestro Corps members in general, I would like a Kyle Rayner Parallax. Also, a Hal Parallax with a better head sculpt than the DC Direct version... and a Bizarro Yellow Lantern (fat chance, I know.) Bzzd would be a great insert with another GL figure release. RL Atrocitus definitely should have been BAF-scale. After the various Thor, Green Lantern, and Transformers movie figures take over store shelves this summer, it may be a while before any of these figures see the light of day (if ever). You are totally onto something with the Guardian idea. DC may not have been thrilled with Black Lantern Scar sales performance, but your idea could really turn into something great, even if we have to pay the $17-$18 prices over the traditional $14-$15 prices we've grown used to. |

Yeah, I think the trouble DC Direct has with the Guardians, is they only do one or two. To me, the guardians are useless unless you have at least half a dozen.

I just finished my C&C Stel, and really I would have liked to see the Classic looking Stel as a regular Deluxe, instead of the Bionicle/Cleetus look his modern body has.
And if they made Stel like that, a Green Man to go with him. :3 (Non-Alpha Lantern) And of course, Sinestro Corps Tekkik to be his evil equivalent. >w> I always thought that they should make a Queen Apa'Po for the Star Sapphires. P: And any of the humanoid Orange Lanterns would be good, like Warp Wrap or Clypta, depending on how solid a figure composed entirely of translucent orange would fair. I suppose Lex Luthor worked nicely, but I've seen first hand how clear plastic figures break more easily. x/ |
