Yeah I think I'll definitely wait until the next main MU wave comes in before getting these shipped out. I may even wait until the end of October. I'm sick of dumping all that cash on shipping.

so, I took a closer look at the figs at HTS and they are such a straight repaint that it really kinda nags at me.
Starlord= ghost rider body, but with a wip pouches added.
Drax= Absorbing Man body. they didnt even change the head or alter the pants. WTF

the only thing newly sculpted was Starlords head and RR himself.

yeah, but at least the other 3 packs had a reason to use existing molds. These are supposed to be brand new characters, and not modifying existing ones.

Wow, I just saw the figures for this set for the first time and I'm not impressed. Rocket Raccoon is cool and all, but those others are just not doing it for me one bit.

Also, I guess I'm really behind the times. I haven't paid any attention to the Guardians of the Galaxy since the 90's, needless to say there's no one other than RR that I recognize,lol.

Both heads are new- Ghost Rider used the AIM body, so there's plenty of re-use going around.
Look at comics themselves- body types and costumes often repeat elements- the occasional Hawkeye level of complexity is rare because it's more work to draw a hundred times a month!

Yeah, the only thing I wasn't hot on was the Magneto they showed at SDCC that sported the AIM body in it's entirety including the AIM belt with the AIM emblem on it.

My first of two arrive yesterday and repainy or not I love this pack.
Starlord is awesome with three new mold guns.
Drax may be a repaint but he still rocks. He comes with a belt similar to warpaths with two knives that fit inside.

Rocket Raccon and baby Groot are inaction figures and will end up as fodder in a drawer.

My second Drax may get the 3.75" Blanka street fighter head when this pack arrives (if it looks ok).
