Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else but I tried searching through the forums and couldn't find anything!

Does anyone know a good online store in Canada that's reputable and sells S.H. Figuarts ? Specifically Dragon Ball? I've recently started a collection by buying a bunch at the Toronto Fan Expo and now I'm looking for a good reliable retailer.

I've looked around on Amazon but from what I read, there's a lot of knock offs on there so it might be a hit and miss. I noticed "Bandai Tamashii Nations" on Amazon but it looks like sometimes it ships form vendors like "Foxchip-fr". Does anyone know if these are reputable?

I know there's a bunch of US sites but with the conversion/shipping costs, seems a bit expensive compared to buying directly in Canada.

Any help/suggestions would be really appreciated!

Northmen Collectibles carries a few, but not many. I really think your best bet is eBay and online retailers like BBTS unfortunately.

I'm in Vancouver B.C. and I usually buy all my Japanese toys and model kits directly from Japan, it saves a lot of $$$ on the mark-up you see when buying from BBTS, EE, and other US retailers...

Check it out:

Hobbylink Japan:
https://hlj.com/
Great site with great prices. No hassle preorders, and a 'personal warehouse', similar to BBTS's 'pile 'o' loot' service. I spend way too much money here every month!

Plamoya Japan:
https://plamoya.com/
Prices are a bit higher at Plamoya, but they have great 70% off sales pretty much all the time. Hard to find stuff is frequently in stock here as well.

...All of the stuff Ive ordered from either place have arrived with great care taken to ensure the items have been wrapped in tissue, and immobilized very well with shrink wrap and packing pickles. I honestly cant say that for BBTS or EE. Both of them are great online stores, but why go through a middle-man?!

Hope this helps. Cheers!

I haven't found a good importer in Canada, and anyway, as Quasimort points out, it's more cost-effective to order directly from a Japanese source. I've had positive experience with nippon-yasan.com, but be prepared to wait many weeks for delivery if you choose the cheapest method.

Thanks for all the info guys! I ended up buying a few figures from the following two places:

* bigbadtoystore.com
* plamoya.com

Plamoya seems a bit expensive but I managed to find two figures on there that I couldn't find anywhere else which were pretty reasonably priced. I guess I have to keep an eye out on the sales. Unfortunately, even with the sales, it looks like the DB Figuarts only go on sale for about 8-10% which isn't much when you compare how expensive the figures are compared to other sources.

I also checked a bunch of different sources with some mixed results:

* amiami.com/eng/ - seems like the best place but seems like they're always sold out
* order.mandarake.co.jp/order/ - have a good amount of them listed, but looks like they only sell pre-owned figured. I would rather get new ones
* nippon-yasan.com - unfortunately I only see a single DB Figuarts being listed
* shop.bluefinbrands.com - the vendor that I initially got my figures from at the Toronto Fan Expo, but the website looks light on the figures.. I only see a handful of them
* thetoysource.com - looks like they have a decent selection that's somewhat decently priced
* itcamefromjapan.com - they have a few listed there but they seem really overpriced
* hlj.com - seems WAY over priced
* northmencollectibles.ca - have a handful but again, seems really expensive

Never knew how hard it would be to find these things on the net that are reasonably priced and ship to Canada. BTW, if anyone has any other links/sources that they can share with me, I'll be forever grateful!
