Rob Liefeld should never be mentioned in the same Breath with other artists. And using him as an example for human anatomy in comics is laughable. I go by the art of 2 of the best in comic history, George Perez & John Byrne, now those 2 legends knew how to draw superheroines!

All these companies (Neca, Hasbro, Mattel) making us risk our lives to get non essentials EVERY DAY When the US is in the middle of a health crisis is irresponsible. I live in the Covid Capital of America (Florida) and I'm not willing to risk my life to hunt for plastic.

I wish that Emma Frost would have just been part of a Hellfire club wave instead of a box set.

Man, that was me in March and April....and....May. I’m in NewYork, so I wasn’t allowed to go unless I needed essentials. In fact, since my wife works in 2 hospitals, she still had to go to work, so she would pick things up on her way home. She said most non essential departments were closed off. So it wasn’t an option to even look. I was pulling my hair out, watching people around the country post their finds. And sadly, my wife’s friend just tested positive after 2 people she works with tested positive at a hospital near us. That’s how it started here last time. I keep waiting for numbers to shoot back up again once we all turn our heat on again by fall. The damn thing just spreads so easy.

Stay safe, and I’m thinking of you and everyone living through this.

Misdirected anger. No one’s forcing you to go to stores.

No, they aren’t. However, with most states, in fact, most countries still battling this virus, the medical professionals are pushing to keep gatherings and outings to bare minimum. Most companies and stores are switching to online offerings, some of these toy companies are slow to adjust. The idea of store exclusives is to get you in store to buy something else along with the toy or instead of. That goes against the directives of not browsing in stores and just getting what you need and leave.

Sadly, I have never seen so many store exclusives. Yet, these companies didn’t think to offer most of the stock online for everyone. They instead take a hobby intended to get our minds away from stress and make it extremely stressful. So yea, multi-million dollar companies do have a responsibility to their customers. I know some of you truly feel that these toy companies don’t owe us anything and think we deserve what we get. Companies don’t last long that treat their customers poorly. I see neca is doing massive damage control right now, which is very unlike them. That tells me their bottom line is taking a hit. Look for other companies to follow suit.

Boy, NECA’s problems are a whole ‘nother animal. I don’t think the same can be said of availability of Hasbro, particularly if you’re looking for online options.

No doubt, neca has major problems. But, the Walmart exclusive clone wars black series wave of 4, sold out fast online then came back hours later then gone. That forces people’s hands to Walmart. Plus the movie cable figure was a tough one and even the transformers.

The target exclusives were even worst. Fans have been waiting for a chance at that millennium falcon for years and it pre-sold out in minutes. The 2 black series figures went fast as well and the 4 G.I. Joe 6 inch exclusives sold out in seconds. Again forcing people in store to find them.

The difference with hasbro and neca is usually hasbro sticks a lot of their exclusive in store. But the idea is to keep people out of stores right now. Not waiting in electronics for employees to walk the back room for 15 minutes.

I can’t speak to all that. I’ve had very little trouble ordering or finding Hasbro stuff aside from the Target stuff, which I think is more Target’s handling of their inventory and missed windows of opportunity on my part. Clearly there’s a million Red Hulks and DO Black Widows out there so they did in the long run make them not too hard to get even if you couldn’t find them when they first hit. I’m sure if you missed the first preorders you’ll have more chances. People just need to be chill and have patience.

Agreed, but in the world as it stands, most of us are over stressed already. Me, personally, I have taught my 6 year old at home since March 16th. 5-6 hours a day. Now I focus on keeping him active and read. The stress of my wife working through this everyday and me being stuck at home most of the time has made things lest interesting. Let me tell you, we all look for lights in the tunnel. And man sometimes a simple stupid plastic toy delivered to your house is just a little light.

When it comes to certain exclusives location, location, location. I’ve never seen red hulk. Yet I’ve seen more black widows than I can count.

Fact is, we are constantly being told “safer at home”. That doesn’t work for toy hunting. And I’m pretty a positive person, but this crap will be with us for a couple more years. I highly doubt conventions even come back next year. I’d love someone to tell me you were way off. But I don’t expect that.

I get it man, everyone is getting cabin fever but at the same time the world doesn’t stop. On the plus side, traffic around DC has never been lighter 😃 You go out there, you know what risks you’re taking though, simple as that. Kinda on you.

I gots mines ordered though

I agree with you.

For me the worst case of this was with Black Cat being redone too svelte. It's this weird idea that they need to be gender-free, which maybe is the next generation, I don't know.
But they start to lack any real character when everyone looks exactly the same level of uninteresting and uninterested.

Uncanny X-force vol 1, it was introduced in issue 14 and was featured through 18 but still showed up on some covers later.

Edit: Just finished skimming through the volume. It debuts from 14 to 19 and she returns to wearing it again for 27 until the volume ends. So she actually wears it for just under half of the run.

Okay, got my Nimrod/Psylocke/Fantomex set today and Amazon's packaging has reached a new low, even for them. IT CAME WITH NO PACKAGING AT ALL. They just slapped a bunch of shipping stickers on the back of the box and sent it on it's merry way. I couldn't believe my fucking eyes when the driver handed it to me. Anyone else ever have this bullshit happen to them?

Thankfully the figures all seem fine, although the sides of the box are pretty banged up. Not sure if I should bitch about or not. I probably will.

I remember hearing recently they did that with the TurboGrafx-16 mini console, just slapping labels on the box. It's ridiculous. Just throw it in 1 more box, even without padding it's better than that.

They did the same thing with their latest Transformers exclusive.

I had it happen with a blender I ordered. But you can stop this from happening. Always check the box that says "This is a gift" when you're checking out. That forces them to put it in a box.
