I like how the retro Connery figure has the wrong hat from what's shown on the cardback

These new 3.75" reveals this week were never made in the Kenner line. Nothing reissued about them. Those of us who collected the vintage Kenner line love this unexpected expansion of it. I never in 40 years thought we'd get new figures that fit perfectly with the 1982 figures. Modern TVC style Indy figures had their time in 2008-2009 and Hasbro made almost every key figure back then. Sure I'd love several more new TVC style Indy figures to add onto the 2008 line, but if Hasbro is willing to take a chance on ANY 3.75" line right now, I think it's amazing they are doing a Kenner tribute line, let alone doing all new figures for it -- something we keep hoping they'd do for Kenner Star Wars, and so far in 4 years all they've done is Tarkin and a laughably inaccurate awful looking Snowspeeder Luke.

That said, I'm surprised the Temple of Doom set was limited to just 2 figures and they didn't at least give us Mola Ram. The lack of Willie or Elsa figures is concerning too, and I hope Hasbro isn't going all McFarlane here with the belief that female figures aren't worth doing. I'm also disappointed that Temple of Doom Indy is missing his satchel and a Sankara stone accessory.

As for the new 6" reveals, Kazim is a shocking deep cut release I NEVER expected them to do. It suggests a surprising confidence in the longevity of the 6" line if they are doing characters like him. I'm still worried the line will end after this year once the film has come and gone, just like with the Ghostbusters Plasma line. It would suck if we don't get the rest of the main casts before then. I definitely would be pissed in the long run that we got Kazim and never an Elsa figure. And we need Mola Ram and Willie too!

Kazim is probably an exclusive. Almost bet it'll be Target or Amazon, since Walmart is getting Donovan, and we know Dr. Jones, Elsa, and Grail Knight are mainline releases.

So does Dr. Jones look more like Stephen Spielberg or Richard Dreyfuss?

I'm glad you got those figures. For realz.
I've gotten some Godzilla toys that I wanted for decades but never thought I would see so I somewhat understand the sentiment.

If I happened to be at Target and I saw Indy and Shortround, I'd probably get them. Assuming the price was a bit lower and the cards were immaculate. I do love TOD and appreciate the novelty of these even existing since TOD only got LJN figures during its run.

No need to wait for WM - Pulse and EE have Donovan and Prof. Indy up for pre-order now.

Yeah, so much for these 2 being Walmart exclusives. I easily preordered through Pulse now so I don't have to deal with Walmart suddenly cancelling a preorder months after I placed it like they so often do.

If he looks like steven spielberg hopefully it doesn't come with a heather o'rourke accessory figure.

Love Walmart lost their exclusivity of Donovan and Prof Jones. Now do that with Marvel Legends Hasbro.

If they issue any of these in the upcoming return to window packaging, I might give them a second look.

Should rename the line: Indiana Jones in various states of undress.
Could you at least give us some villains for him to fight Hasbro? Even if German soldiers are too politically incorrect for you surely we can get the German Mechanic since it was done in the retro line and the Cairo Swordsman.

A bit pedestrian all around (to me) but okay enough I guess. There's a couple I'll be getting for sure though.

Four Indianas in a 6 figure wave seems excessive, swapping out Hypno-Jones for a Willie figure would have been better. I like the Brody 2-pack, hope it isn't hard to find outside the US.
