I hate to tell you, I placed my preorder for Moonknight at Walgreens.com at 2:20pm, if you tried at 3:30pm, you're too late. It says it's out of stock online now.

I don't know what it says about the fact that Peter's girl friends have been reduced to swappable heads with one body, but it cause me to actually break down laughing.
They were both similar builds weren't they? However... MJ wouldn't be seen dead in what Gwen's wearing! I think they just threw the extra head in as a bonus for anyone who didn't manage to pick up her exclusive 2-pack release.

I find myself irritated at how short Electro's boots seem to be... they should have painted them higher...

What I find even funnier though was the fact that Dwight said, "And after Gwen's death Pete's going to need to rebound, so we packed a Mary Jane head with her." OH my god I was laughing my ass off way harder than I should have.

Though, I still think it's bs they killed Gwen and moved Peter to MJ.

Are you sure though? Because it looks like Gwen has a teenage body and not an adult one, whereas the MJ we got in the 2 pack was an adult version.

They have teamed up a bunch of times. I think this is more a throwback to the old Toy Biz Daredevil originally coming in this costume, but he was never on a Spiderman card though from what I remember. That was during what scholars refer to as the Armoring Era where everyone got tricked out armored costumes.

Tbh, at the time, I got the impression this outfit was going the way of New Coke and Jason Todd cuz everyone hated it.

That’s pretty awesome! But I’m more interested in that DCUC collection in the background there.

HA, yeah I have virtually every DC Univere / S3/ Matty club and Multiverse figure Matty made. I am in the process of re-shelving most of my house, but when I am done the DC figure will get 5 dedicated bookcases.

Just a quick pic before they will all get moved and re arranged. I have a couple years of Multiverse in boxes, I ran out of room.

Definitely preferred the original head sculpt on Old Man Hawkeye. Anyone know when we are expecting the Marvel Legends Riders Punisher w/ Motorcycle they showed a few months back?

My DC collection used to look like that, and then I sold off a bunch for space. Then the ICons line happened and I sold off pretty much everything when DC showed they were going all out on the line. And now I've got a Flash, a couple Harleys, a Mad Hatter, and the New Gods. That's it.

Oh, and the pieces of Jonah Hex I never got rid of after his torso exploded on me.

Oh my...I just couldn't sleep, decided to surf the web and what did I find? The pre-orders of 90s Spiderman!

Pre-ordered ALL of them, there is a lot of love in the designs. Can't wait!

There's been a lot of interactions through the years between DD and Spiderman in their civilian identities too. Murdock defending Peter in court or giving him legal advice is a somewhat reoccurring thing.

When I am done my Marvel Legends will probably be close to 10 bookcases. I have been getting Legends since the first series from Toy Biz.

What a jerk. Just because he wants the line to go in the direction it should be.....he never even said he wouldn't buy them. You don't want the line to improve?

I think it's just a new body type, looks a bit taller than the "Ghost Spider" teenage Gwen of recent years. Otherwise that would be pretty short sighted of Hasbro, especially since Gwen was technically an adult and fully grown when Peter met her in college (if not when she actually wore that outfit and died).

Plus I see no other reason why they'd actually include the M.J. head, since they are well aware that she doesn't belong with that outfit.

The most recent Stepford Cuckoos figure is based on the teenage body, but shares the neck peg of the adult body. I'm assuming something similar is happening here. The figure bodies may not scale together, but I feel the heads will.

The MJ head is definitely a mercy offering to those that missed out on the original release. IMO, it's also just a better representation of the character. Can't wait to replace the old head.
