I was thinking the exact same thing.

Lol, after Mezco's Breaking Bad fiasco a while back, I'd hate if some thin-skinned mommy spotted these in TRU and threw a tantrum on social media all because she wanted the world to know that she was afraid of her little snowflake's delicate sensibilities being offended by these "inappropriate" characters

But, all joking aside, seriously, yeah, that figure of Bernthal's Punisher looks amazing. He's been at the top of my personal wish-list ever since I finished Season 2 of Daredevil.

Why do people keep saying the Netflix figs were unexpected? I don't watch any of the shows, bigger DC fan than Marvel, and I assumed they were a given!

Because the Netflix Marvel shows have been TV-MA to this point and Hasbro has never done anything R-rated like that before. These are likely I'm thinking to be some kind of exclusive (probably internet as some other Arkers suggest) since they don't likely want some kids seeing them and then deciding to watch the not-for-kids shows that they're from on Netflix.

Well, these are a little bit different than say a meth lab or Dexter in his blood spattered serial killer garb.

If TRU can still carry The Walking Dead merchandise, they can carry Netflix MCU stuff. Though purple man and a more violent version of Frank Castle would probably have to be exclusives. The two shown as is are bland enough to pass even the strictest censors.

You know I still can't understand why Wal-Mart and Target can carry TWD stuff but not Mortal Kombat figures. Gory looking zombies are okay but not a couple of ninjas and a dude in a cool hat?

MK does not currently have any media presence, much less a highly rated media presence.

I'm not 100% sure what that means. All I know is MKX was hot and Mezco released figures but even though they still sell the game in stores today they wouldn't sell the figures. Never understood why.

The problem is stricter age restrictions. A minor can't play an MK game without having a parental figure get it for them.

Whereas any kid with access to a Netflix account can watch Daredevil/Jessica Jones.

Assuming the account doesn't have any parental blocks but if you're a parent with a kid that you allow to watch Netflix on their own without supervision you should really have some level of parental blocks on because Netflix has some messed up shit.

Yeah, I don't usually watch shows that feature the violence and stuff that Daredevil and such have(I'm lame like that), and man, Flash and Arrow are kids shows compared to the Netflix shows. I mean, the Kingpin smashed a dude's head on a car, whereas Arrow would just stick an arrow through their shoulder. Very non-graphic in comparison, and one of the reasons I, amongst others here, were surprised when they made Netflix series figures.

On a different note, am I the only one who thinks that Jessica Jones kinda flaunted its adult rating a little bit? I mean, you have a drunk with superpowers attempting to stop her former rapist, so it's adult enough to earn the rating there. But NOPE! DAT SEX HAS TO BE ONSCREEN! EVEN IN SITUATIONS WHERE NOT DIRECTLY SHOWING IT WOULD WORK BETTER! WE'RE ADULT!

I mean, I liked Jessica Jones and all, but that and the pointless subplot with the lesbians were big problems for me.

Sorry, ranting.

They have different restrictions though. Plus, Flash is not DareDevil. Flash is not supposed to be dark and grim. He is supposed to be bright, colorful, funny, and fun, which is exactly what the show is.

The only sex scene that felt right actually being shown was the first time with Luke Cage because it was funny watching two superpowered people break an apartment in the act. The entire thing of seeing Trish and Simpson having sex though was just in your face "look how TV-MA we can be!"

Flash would suck if it tried to be dark or moody, this is why I didn't like Man of Steel. Some heroes shouldn't be dark/moody/grim, some were made to be fun and actually, y'know, heroic.

Yeah, Jones would have been 10 episodes if they took out the sex scenes. It became over kill and got boring.

Jones would have been fine if you'd never seen a gritty show in your life but they missed that boat, and it was just trying too hard anyway.

I haven't read the books so I can't comment on how loyal the show was, but for me you had an unlikeable lead*, an interesting villain you were battered over the head with, and kinda random side characters it was hard to give a crap about. All depressingly stretched out in what could have been a miniseries.

I can't help thinking that if there hadn't been so much in the media on female oppression around the world on release you might have seen some more honest reviews for that show. That's not a criticism of the mainstream media for once when it comes to women or some misogynist BS - I desperately want good female superhero shows if nothing else (deliberate joke). And we're starting to get them, but Jones definitely aint it. For me anyway.

* Something's seriously wrong when you've got a superpowered rape victim who is the dullest character in a gratuitous show.

Ha ha sorry DarkToyLord. I see comments like the one above and sometimes I feel the need to respond (nothing personal dr kain).
I just look at what we used to get every year at SDCC (huge awesome 1/18 diorama, full articulation, great sculpts, tons of new reveals and good exclusives) and get a little bummed out. I see the 6" stuff and a hint of envy comes out. I pick up an occasional 6" figure (like giantman last night for $9.99) but I try to stick to 3.75". I'll try not to let jealousy rear its ugly head again lol.

Also can't wait for the panel today, hoping for more reveals.

Is it just me, or do the biceps on that 12 Inch Deadpool look way too scrawny? Still don't know how to feel about that line.

He looks to be sharing the same body as Spider-man. To me, it looks like Deadpool's head is a tad too big and makes the body look scrawnier.
