True, but that was at the end of the year. Hopefully we don't have to wait until October/November for it to happen again...

Just Gladiator, Thor, First appearance Wolverine and Cyclops are hanging on the pegs in my Target. It barely even has Avenger figures and not a single Legend figure. Pretty crummy.

I think you're correct. My area hadn't had a Jim Lee Cyclops in forever, and then all of a sudden they're warming the pegs of each of my big-box stores. I even sold a few to people who were still scouring the interwebs for one.

I'm probably giving him Resolute Scarlett's or Gnawgahyde's rifle. That spear is for sure going to the Panther.

I'm hoping so bad we get Betty Banner hulk variant. It'll be so sweet to open a fresh case
and have variants/extra characters.

That would make me very happy! Then we'd be a modern Dr. Strange from the full Defenders line-up.

For Kraven, give him the russian sniper rifile that comes with the Cap line's Winter Soldier.

I was seriously thinking of drilling a hge hole in Kraven's head for a zombie version, but they recently brougt him back to life- at the expense of a couple of long standing Spider-characters.
No Mattie franklin Spider Girl for us!

As to Punisher, he has a great Mike Zeck look but I'll likely end up making his current, more badass look- maybe a Photoshopped decal to replicate his spray-painted onto body armor skull emblem....
Man! At a time when it's all Avengers hype, the best comics around belong to Punisher, Daredevil and Spidey (and lLoki's is incredible). Cap, thor and Iron Man all kinda suck in their own books right now.

Thor and Cap both have good books right now, but not on the level of Punisher, Daredevil, and Avenging Spider-Man, which also happen to be in a crossover event. I'm trying to be into all three, but finding back issues of Daredevil has been near impossible.

Yeah, taht crossover was GREAT! I cant believe Frank got the best joke in the whole thing. I miss Cole already though- I hope she returns in Punisher, but if DD's amazing talk with her set her on another path, I'm cool with it..
It's like there no editorial oversight at all on some titles.
Daredevil's first story arc is in trade now and the second is coming in june- total comics fun!

Gotta disagree with you about Cap by way of plot- that's been pretty weak and it kills the solid dialogue and great use of Sharon and Iron Man in the title.
That being said, "Captain America and"... looks like a great concept! Kinda a throwback to Marvel Team Up but with several issues to tell each story.
The first arc was weak but the team up (and creative team) with Hawkeye looks great!

I'm kinda on the fence with the whole "Asgardia" line Fracton is doing in Thor-and the art either looks great or like total ass- Dwarves look like old green goblins for example- completely dfferent from not only Simonson's run but also every other appearance of them ever- even the one boozing with Tony in Fear itself!
Fracton is writing more and more titles for marvel and all of them suck- Defenders is unreadable- established characters completely acting out of character shows either disregard for prior writers or just lazy writing.
His stuff on Thor is a perfect example of this, and coming after Gillen kicked so much ass (and continues to on JiM) it's a big letdown.

Speaking of modern figs Defenders- we need a Valkerie!
And Moondragon! Then we could make the New defenders from the 80's- Angel Iceman Beast Moondragon and Valkerie! MAN that comic sucked though! LOL!

SOME ADVICE NEEDED: What should I use for a custom of Damian Hellstorm's head? I have a body, trenchcoat and trident- I just need the head to begin...even custom heads for sale would be fine- I just have not seen one that works!
Can be from any toy line- SW, MU, Joe, Golen Compass, Indy...
So far the closest I can find is the Prince of Persia fig- I could maybe repaint it into Damian.

Oh, I didn't know it was out in tpb, thanks! As for Thor, yeah... the art can get real weird. At one moment you're looking at some goofy-ass version of Thor, and the next moment he looks perfect. IDK what the problem is.

This may seem over-simplified, but what about a light or dark blue Human Torch?

Maybe the MU Quicksilver head?

The current look for damian is kinda...well, he looks like he should have an electric gutiar.
Longish hair (shoulder length) so the Torch's odd "flame head" is out...but the Quicksilver head is a real possibility for his facial looks.
Gotta add the hair...still...not bad.
Damian Hellstorm is a perfect example of how Marvel does not have it's shit together- he's defending the innocent in Journey Into Mystery the same month he's betraying Doctor Strange and helping Sin in The Fearless (which sucked almost as hard as Fear Itself did- incredibly hard in other words).

Yeah, it was really messed up reading both books at the same time.

So tell me if I'm wrong here guys, as far as variants for these two waves, there is a variant Spiderman and Beast. Then another variant Spiderman and She-Hulk?

Wave 18 has Spider-Man and variant Miles Morales and Beast will supposedly have a Secret Avengers variant but we haven't seen it yet. Wave 19 FF Spidey will have Paper Bag Man and possibly an unmasked Peter Parker variant. Nothing other than speculation for She-Hulk, only rumored "because it would be easy"

It's been so long since I've seen new figures around here, I thought they might have had plans of canceling the line. Glad to see new figures on the horizon; ALL of these are bought on site except for Hulk. Not too fond of the Beast figure, but I'll still end up getting him because we haven't gotten one yet.
