Glad to see Aphra & the Murder-bots making their way to the Black series!

Looks like Aphra is on the Jaina Solo body w/ new arms & head. Pretty ingenious re-use, with the new paintjob it took me a moment to realize.

I have no idea who Aphra is, but did Jaina Solo ever hit stores?

I can't even say how excited I am for 6" Aphra and the droids, I wasn't sure we would see them in 6" at all let alone this soon. They look amazing too.

Her wave was poorly distributed but yes she came out last December, I found her at Walmart in time for Christmas. I also saw her recently-ish
at Gamestop. She's never been too pricey on Amazon.

I love the Crait version of Skywalker. I can't stand TLJ, but the Crait duel sequence was visually impressive and I think the figure will fit in well with pre-Disney Expanded Universe figures. It'll be definite buy for me and the first Star Wars 3.75" figure I'll have bought in the best part of a decade.

Welcome back to 3.75! Other former 6 inch collectors like myself have returned to 3.75. For all the rest of you overwhelmed with 6 inch figures, we 3.75 collectors, have kept the light on for ya.

^ Speaking of 3.75, its said Top Gun is like Star Wars, yet in our very own skies. "Elite Force" toys is returning to retail with some descent 3.75 product. Top Gun the Sequel is now filming and hopefully more collectors will return to 3.75 figures,

Walmart too hopes to expand their toylines with "Only at Walmart" exclusives. Perhaps its blue branded stores, can team up with Blue Box Toys, and the "Blue Blasters" squadron. And thus release this easy to make "blue" repaint in time for the new Top Gun sequel.

Exactly. After nearly a year of watching Jediholics Anonymous Luke warm on the shelf, this was the version I wanted. Aphra looks great as well. Black Series just keeps making things that I shouldn't even desire, but wany anyway. Which makes me wonder why GI Joe gets no lovin' like this.

I'm really surprised too, after the 3 3/4" set, I figured that'd be it. I might even be a little annoyed if I had bought that knowing 2 months later they'd reveal the 6" versions.

Aphra is a very welcome surprise.
Another Stormtrooper Luke, this time with wet hair, when there are still so many great characters to do. Bit of a head scratcher.

It says he's Target exclusive so at least he won't take up space in a regular wave.

That's Stormtrooper Luke is the best Hasbro Luke I've ever seen as far as head sculpt is concerned.

What are the chances that Hasbro will ever release improved versions of older Black Series and Vintage Collection figures, like an ANH-style Han with the updated face-printing they used on the Bespin Han?

There's the Black Series Archive line, remember? Explicitly for rereleasing older figures, with the new faceprinting tech if possible. First wave is X-Wing Pilot Luke, Boba Fett, Bossk, and 4-LOM, and at NYCC they also revealed RotS Anakin, Yoda, and Scout Trooper.

It's IG-88 not 4-LOM.

Yup, and that's where Kidpool, Dogpool, and Lady Deadpool are from. Headpool was a carryover from a Zombie thing, but he was in it too.

Since this has Dogpool, that's what this legends set is for. Though I guess a Bea Arthur playset was too much.

Lot of love for this Aphra gal lately. Saw a single carded 3.75 inch version the other day at Walmart, and now she already has a Black Series figure coming. Who is she in the scheme of things why suddenly all the hype?

That's a great facesculpt though. I wonder if the hat is removable...

Now I could be wrong, I haven't actually read her but my understanding is that she is basically Tomb Raider in SW.

She's like an amoral Indiana Jones in space, she was introduced in the first Darth Vader solo comic from Marvel in 2015 and became so popular she's had her own solo comic for the last two years. The first Disney original, non-film character to get their own ongoing comic.

Damn, whoops. That's far from the first time I've mixed up names like that, but probably the first time I've done it for Star Wars characters...
