Exactly.

Hell, I'm still hoping for an Overdrive figure. Not really because I give a shit about Overdrive, I just want to finally complete my Superior Foes of Spider-Man display, dammit.

Nah, nowhere near 60, heh. I've always just been the type to seek out the oddball stuff in life. Just so happens that there's a lot of it in the past!
Oh, I never said I wasn't old...

The funniest thing is I will buy Spymaster and he will go right next to my Madame Mask, Living Laser, and Dreadknight - which also would have peg warmed, if not for being part of a SDCC pack. I love all my obscure peg warming characters. I have two Tiger Sharks, three Machine Men, two Polaris figs, etc...I love my Eel and Cobra figs as well.

My gripe is still having to wait for Quasar while having a Spymaster in my collection...you know, first world probs.

At least do your part, as I mentioned above, and buy a couple of those shits to unclog pegs. This way people can purchase the non bullshit characters of subsequent waves.

I also want Overdrive. I got excited when he popped up in one of the Comic-Con displays until I realized it was just a kitbash someone made.

I actually enjoy the obscure bad guys like Tiger Shark etc… with their 70es 80es design, because that’s what I read when I was a kid… and they also do very nice foes for the Tokusatsu figuarts since Japanese makers don’t do much baddies as figures.

I have zero idea who Strong Guy is and I personally think he looks retarded, but there's several people in this thread who are happy he's being put out as a BAF so I'm honestly happy for them. No complaints.

That said, things seemed for a bit to be going south in this thread and I was worried that Joe was going to flex his muscles and step in, but I'm glad that we seemed to iron out things on our own like grown-ups.

Strong Guy, back in the 80's/90's was a mutant bodyguard for celebrity mutants in the "human world" if memory serves correctly. Ridiculously proportioned character, but really epitomized the late 80's/90's crazy art.

For me, he fits the BAF criteria more than Demogoblin. Both are rather limited characters, but Strong Guy's size really lends itself to the BAF compared to Demogoblin. I can't wait til they have Paste Pot Pete BAF. lol

Lol "Grown-ups" on an action figure enthusiasts site? That's rich...after a fashion, maybe.

I guess that last bit was an attempt to seek some sort of high-ground posture regarding my "complaints" and your being "happy" for others. While I'm not going to stoop to launch subtle ad hominem jabs back at you, I will say this, I don't take it personally when people poke lighthearted fun at the things I like...because, you know, the internet...

Enjoy. Your. Spymaster.

Collectively, all those obscure oddballs makes for a really cool Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe sub-group

Very true! Spymaster even rated an appearance on one of the covers...of course it would be one of the books of the dead...

With Blizzard, Beetle & Spymaster done, we need classic Blacklash to finish this cool 80s quartet of Ironman villains!
