Guessing this will be where they show off more of the Iron Man figures and the retro FF.
Maybe some of the Disney+ stuff too but I'm thinking those will be part of an official press release like Hasbro did with the WandaVision figures. |

Can’t WAIT to see how hasbro screws up fortnite. Epic shoulda just left it with jazzwares. Theres no way hasbro’s stiff will be anywhere as good as what jazzwares made.

Come on, we've got to at least give them a chance before shooting down their acquisition of the license. If they give us figures that are as good, even if less accessories, I'll be satisfied. Not happy, but satisified.

Plus hasbro’s notorious double dipping, re-releasing the same fig only the way it shoulda been the first time has soured my outlook with hasbro. I want to be happy with the figs i collect and display. Honestly once hasbro finishes 90’s X-factor and X-force ill likely be done with legends unless its something that really wows me. Lately I have passed on damn near every legend i see.

Man i would like to be optimistic but looking at the shabby qc of hasbros stuff as of the last few years ( the terrible qc from legends, the already discolored plastic on not only legends but power rangers and star wars figs ) and the fact hasbro seems perfectly tine making half of their lines scalperbait exclusives never to be found outside of ebay and scslpers i have very very little faith in hasbro not to rooster up the line. Jazzwares 6” figs kicked the ever loving crap outta 90% of what hasbro has put out.

I definitely get your point, although they probably wouldn't have the inaccuracies since Epic doesn't seem to share most skin designs before they're out, which is why Jazwares had at least 6 months delay in the figures of the newest skins, would probably mean that they would be accurate from the get-go. Judging by how Jazwares didn't have to do many exclusives to appease Retailers for shelf space, I don't think Hasbro should either.
Honestly unless they keep their line in the same scale as jazzwares stuff i don’t feel their line will last beyond a wave or two.

I hope you’re right but hasbro seems to think that making half their lines some form of exclusive is the rigjt thing to do. Plus hasbro is slowly transitioning to pinless figures and given how their stiff is constantly in need of some form of fixes, repair etc its likely just going to make it that much less appealing to folks.

I don't think it's that. There's a channel called Spector Creative run by a guy who has inside info on the industry. He claims that companies do exclusives so that their figures get good amounts of prominent shelf space. Fortnite seems to be popular enough to get away with minor amounts of exclusives, so hopefully no/little of them. If the Hasbro ones are trash, I'll start collecting Jazwares new 2" line.

I look forward to more GI Joe Classified I'll never see in a store because the distribution is absolute ass.
And probably more highly desirable figures that are Target only exclusives that I'll have to pay through the nose for on Ebay because they simply don't exist in the actual target stores and sell out in seconds before the pre-order even opens up on Target's website. Knowing my luck it'll be Zarana and Cover Girl, my two most wanted secondary Joes. |

Yup, I've got at least 15-20 figures to track down before the end of the year, planning to order Visitor from Ebay soon, and thankfully the Scientist is now available in the UK. Mewoscles and Kit are high priority, as well as 8 Ball, Drift and the Squad repack set (which is a good deal).

Yeah, it had repacks of Jonesy, Peely, Beef Boss and Tomatohead for the lower price of £60 (now £50) compared to the usual price of £20 per figure.

I don't care for the game Fortnite, but I've bought some figure. The Jazzwares ones are pretty good. What's up with the license anyway, they're just letting everyone jump in and do whatever?

Yeah I'm bummed with the news with Jazzware losing the license for 6" and up. I figure Hasbro might have known the deal was up for renewal and really sold Epic on the fact they can probably push out easily 12-15 figures a year for 1/12 scale. Said it in a previous post Hasbro is about keeping the pipeline flowing which makes the shareholders happy. I have a few select Fortnite 6" figures. I imagine much like with GI Joe Classified and Power Rangers lightning, first wave will be pretty solid and it will begin to taper off and get worse. I just hope the accessory count will be good or they will crank out a few deluxe editions.

Well, with Hasbro, you'll either get epic pegwarming (ala their Ghostbusters stuff) or such putrid distribution you almost never see anything in brick and mortar (being MMPR, GI Joe, Star Wars save for a few epic pegwarmers).
Most Targets I go to blew out a ton of the Fornite stuff on clearance, and yet still seem inundated with figures that aren't moving. |
