ThreeZero DLX Iron Man Mark XLIII Photo Review

Super duper short version : Pretty close to perfection IMO.

I am slowly moving away from 6 inch figures.

Those ThreeZero figures are amazing. I have their 1/6 Rambo and it's amazing.

I am not sure if I will get Iron Man, but seeing it inscale with McFarlane makes it tempting.

I am very much enjoying McFarlane stuff. It's like Comic NECA figures. They can improve yes.

Anyway that ThreeZero Iron MAn wowzers, is one to think about.

Yeah it does look great but is just out of scale with literally everything else I have lol. I wasn't planning on picking it up but yeah it's not for me right now.

The scale almost doesn't matter to me because it's just an absolutely beautiful figure. Pair it with the Threezero Hulkbuster, and it won't look out of place at all!

Yeah not worried about the size cause I’ll have him inside my Hulkbuster at all times, it’ll look awesome with my other 6” scale Marvel figures.

Also I think you can turn on/off the arc reactor light by pushing on it.

I tried that. On my copy, didn't work. However this is an early run copy so might be adjusted for for final.

This looks perfect; ThreeZero is quickly becoming my favorite toy company. All of their figures that I own feel super high-quality.

I want this, but the only thing that is holding me back is that the Mark XLIII is a pretty forgettable suit from one of my least favorite Marvel movies. I get it, they chose it because Hulkbuster, but I don’t really want a Hulkbuster either.

So I think I will play the waiting game and see what comes around. If they do Mark III or Mark VII I'm in.

I'd at least consider pairing the Hulkbuster with a Hulk but I really have no idea on what size the Hulkbuster would be either.

Great ohotos. The figure looks superb. I wish it came out a couple years ago. Thanks to Figuarts and Mafex and Figma, I'm all iron-manned out.

Most definitely. My two likely displays for this:

1. The Hulkbuster with this standing outside.
2. This inside the Hulkbuster vs. SHF Hulk

The main problem like you say is that this was listed at 6.5" but it's really 7"

The Threezero Hulkbuster is listed at 11.7"(30cm), and the SHF Hulk is 7.8"(20cm). If that stays accurate to the Hulkbuster then I think it's fine since Hulk is about 2/3 the size of the Hulkbuster. If the Hulkbuster ends up being any bigger than that, then the scaling gets pretty difficult for 1/12. At that point, I'd start looking at the Diamond Select Hulk (Unleashed) version at 9"(23cm).
