This is tempting being a BTTF fan but I read that it will take like 2+ years to get all the parts and the cost will end up being more then the Hot Toys BTTF DeLorean. Besides I'm thinking about getting the BTTF 2 Hot Toys DeLorean if they ever release it.

It looks great but no way I'd wait 2+years to complete it.

I have the Sunstar and the Hot Wheels 1/18, so I'm good in that scale. I also have the 1/15 one from Diamond Select and a few of the Wells 1/24 scale ones.

I want the 1/6 Hot Toys Part II version. Wish it would go up for preorder.

My mate has this!!

It looks amazing. A real stunner. He is about a year and a half into it....works like this. This company sells magazines basically, then started adding stuff with their magazines years ago. It was mostly football stuff. Build Old Trafford where Manchester United play or Arsenal or the Real Madrid stadium or whatever football team you support type thing. They then got movie licences and make all sorts of stuff now. Every Tuesday or for some larger, more expensive items every fortnight (that's two weeks if you're uncultured, ) a new "piece" comes out, or book or chess piece or part to Millennium Falcon or Batmobil or Lord of the Rungs figure set or Marvel Fact File illustrated encyclopedia or what ever it is you are building or collecting.

The whole fun is two fold. One it is just a tenner or fiver or less (depending on what it is you are collecting) every other Tuesday, just bob down your local news agent (where you buy magazines) and pick it up. The second part is YOU build it. Can't do that with a Hot Toys version. Every detail is there. Hand stitched leather seats, floor mats the whole nine. Bold statement alert-THE BEST version available. There I said it! Watching my buddy build his makes me jelly no end. Wish now I would have done the MILLENNIUM Falcon build. Also, the low cost of the subscription makes it almost invisible on your wallet.

If you are one the fence.... Get it!!! The first issue is only 99pence and the second will only cost two dollars fifty, or whatever it will cost in the states. You will know after two or three if it is for you or not. You can have it delivered as well. Always excited to see what piece you get as well. Way better than just buying it finished. The anticipation is half the fun!!!!

Oh and you get tonnes of exclusive merchandise along the way and build up cool insider fact file books as well. You will appreciate it more since you are the one who built it. Every few months you get an offer on something related and uber cool. Totally optional on that stuff.

If you try it I don't think you will be disappointed at all!!! Get the first two, what have you to lose?

After watching videos on it, I subscribed.

I'll admit, I was on my lunch break and for some reason I thought it said 1/18 scale oh my phone.

When I got home and read it was 1/8 scale instead, that caught my interest.

This scale gives me the opportunity to have the Time Machine in another scale beginning with 1/64 up to 1/6

However you saying it's way better getting pieces than having it finished, not to me.

Having it already setting on my coffee table next to my Hot Toys and other versions is way better to me. Waiting each month doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather spend the entire amount now and have it in a week or so but instead, I'll have a couple pieces to put in a container lol.

Also, you say it's almost invisible on your wallet? It's 51 bucks a month, pretty visible.

Either way, looking forward to having it finished in a couple years.
