Now...if only they would've announced a 6" Mara Jade.
Because they aren't based on real people it's very easy to say they look good or not. The figures based on the movies are based on real people that we can look at and compare to say things like "oh the nose is wrong." It's like looking at the Marvel Legends based on the comic versions. There isn't a real person to compare them to and then in the comics they never look 100% the same from artist to artist so as long as the figure gets certain details right (eye color, hair-style, general face shape, etc.) we say it's good.

I doubt Hasbro will do Mara Jade any time soon unless she is brought back into canon via Rebels as an altered version of her old form, like how they brought Thrawn in. She was on the same fan poll as Jaina and she did miserably, damn near last place. I was seriously thrown because all I ever used to hear about regarding the old EU was how popular Mara Jade was and how everyone liked Mara Jade but then she got absolutely destroyed in that poll.

Does anyone know what the release date for the SW Forces of Destiny figures are? I've seen July 1st and August 1st both mentioned for the first wave.

Chirrut and Baze have already come out a while ago, 40th Obi-Wan already came out a bit ago, and Lando is supposed to be coming out already.

Chirrut/Baze wave shipped january/febuary. the wave actually came in the Rogue One Blu-Ray mailer end cap usually found in electronics at target

40th Obi-Wan was released in march/april and can be found various places online for retail or under retail. i have a best buy and gamestop near me that both still have Obi-Wan in stock.

Lando wave released June 1st and he is available everywhere. they have two at my local gamestop. you can get him online too.

baze and chirrut got solid case packs i believe so you can find them online for 21.99 now

i'd say between the two hahaha. between july 1st and aug 1st.
my local target already has the FOD build-a-lightsaber set with the new packaging. may have had the dolls too but someone may have beat me. neither of which has a shelf tag, they were just haphazardly placed in the star wars section

Those are definitely 6-inch Black Series, as thryey've already released a Phase II Armor Captain Rex, the articulation style matches more with the 6-inch Black Series, and I can specifically see Rex reuses a lot of the 6-inch Clone Trooper mold (as he logically would).

I know it's not something we normally cover. Hasbro was super psyched about everything ,so they asked us to shoot some pics while they were waiting for Star Wars reveals.

Those are the doll-like toys right? If yes then I just saw a ton of them at TRU today, they got in their truck of new stuff today so they had a lot of them in the Star Wars aisle. I didn't check to see who all they had because it's definitely not a line for me but I remembered you asking this on the Ark so I'm telling you that "yeah I've already seen those at TRU."

Well...

At least we got a highly articulated Wampa.

Was hoping for some Vintage Collection, but I'll take what I can get.

Also, my phone autocorrected to Wampanoag. I have never used such a word to my knowledge.

OH crap hell yeah. Spider punk and songbird. I may be the only one in the world who wishes they would make her in her screaming mimi identity but this is honestly more dynamic and popular so I won't knockem.

Not on Toyark but I saw just a promotional image for 6" Black Sandtrooper on a dewback. Might have to get that when it comes out rather than waiting six months for the price to come down as the vehicles seem to do.

Ghost Rider looks amazing. He and BW will be preordered (if I'm able to preorder them).

Gwenpool is dogcrap, but that isn't surprising. She belongs in the Deadpool wave though, not the Spidey one (I guess I'd end up with her either way since I'm all in both waves, but she doesn't belong with Spidey).

Spider Punk is fine I guess.

No idea who the girl with the wings are though.

Still no X-Men though, huh?
