Did they give a release date for the ANH Vader?

Did not see one yet, but given how they are releasing these, it seems soon. There is 12 (or 13?) figures in this set, but I'm leaning towards 12. Darth Vader comes with this display base thing exclusive for early-bird orders, and the wave will be split into 2, each having 6. Since the current roster only has 5 and they are hyping Vader up, I get the feeling that Vader will be the 6th of this lot. It's heavy-loading towards the front, but I guess they are confident these figures will be in high enough demand given the unique feature?

I think that earlier releases like R2-D2, Han Solo, and that pilot Luke are a good idea for fans who came in AFTER their initial availability(I know that R2-D2 is rare, at least), but farmboy Luke? Ben Kenobi? REALLY? I you were gonna do that, why not make those in colors that resemble the original Kenner figures? That'd at least give it a bit more novelty to convince people to buy it. Those two look like peg warmers, currently.

4 inch Starlord, Spider-man, Vulture, and Shocker look amazing!
Yondu is a nice bonus too! Really digging this more premium two pack approach and hope they have more planned.

Glad Deathshead II isn't the BAF either.

Can't wait to see what the Thor Ragnarok two pack will be! I'm guessing Gladiator Hulk & Thor.

It's cool that they are doing Netflix series characters but darn no Luke Cage in series one Hopefully they make up for it next wave.

To my knowledge, the unmasked Peter head is from the recent Spider-verse storyline.

Perhaps Hasbro took a chance and have some insider information that leads them to believe that she will be the standout character from the new movie and, hence, a much desired figure, therefore helping to sell lots of full waves to people looking to build her.

I'm not sure how likely this is, but maybe only Gamora, Nebula, Star-Lord, and Rocket w/ Kid Groot will have BAF pieces, so people who only want the movie figures don't have to get comics figures to get Mantis, and people who only want the comics figures don't have to get useless (to them) BAF pieces with them.

I like Nebula alot and a bit Gamora, but I don't think I will end up getting them due to my first and last purchase of Marvel Legnds which have horrible quality. I bet all the paint would look smudged and bad...as with most Marvel Legends.

Somebody better answer the phone because I called it! Adam Warlock will come with a Magus head exactly like I hoped/predicted he would since his first reveal.

I don't get how the 3.75" Vulture could have such a wrong head. When they first teased that Vulture I thought the head was just wrong because it was an early mock up but that it hasn't changed is a bit upsetting. Seriously Hasbro, you did the helmet perfectly for the 6" version but just botched the smaller scale? Unless he will have a helmet like that at some point but if not then that's sad. Definitely want that Shocker n' Spidey pack though.

So glad they're re-issuing the 6" R2 since I need him to go with 3PO and in general I love the vintage Kenner cardback packaging but not every figure. Farmboy Luke isn't that old or hard to find and then Ben and Leia literally just came out so while the new packaging is cool none of these are figures which merit the re-release yet. I hope the ANH Vader isn't store exclusive or too expensive because of the display base. That Jawa though!

Was gonna jump all over that chance to get R2, since I missed him the first time around and secondary market prices are stupid, but then Hasbro hit me with the shipping and taxes in the check out. No way am I spending 30 dollars on droid...sorry.

Sure, there are several figures with bad paint apps, but that doesn't make it most of them.

As for the Star Wars stuff, if I wasn't getting the Figuarts, I would be all over those anniversary guys. Vader is the only one I'm going to buy since Bandai hasn't done a ANH version of Vader.
