There were rumors a few months ago about internal issues. Without TRU around,Hasbro has more problems. They lost massive profits due to Star Wars. Then they are forced to make dolls that do not sell.

I am speculation, this is a sign of troubled times ahead.

I think it has more to do with them wanting to move their offices out of Rhode Island. There's all kind of local turmoil there about that, and I can imagine it's not easy to plan a massive move and a con all at once.

There is no room for personal vendettas in a company that wants to make a profit. RoA 88:Vengeance will cost you everything.

Oh, but his baseless statements have merit! OBVIOUSLY he knows someone in Hasbro, in order to make all the claims he does that clearly hold water across the board! He tell me!

I assume there's a ton of factors at play here, least of which is the lack of sales at one guy's local Target. It's likely the RI issue is a major factor.

Well, if they are having money problems, now would be a good time to sell G.I. Joe to NECA.

I'm not sure where this narrative that Hasbro is in trouble comes from. Revenue was down a bit in Q3 this year (-7% in NA, -24% internationally, mostly attributed to the loss of TRU), but operating profits as a percentage of revenue were up. They are a long way from losing money, and there is no evidence that Star Wars specifically is losing them money either.
