I was in Wal-Mart today and they didn't have shit. I hope I'll find something next week since they're supposed to be officially released.

at the risk of sounding like a jerk, i think this fig sucks. the whole line is sucky. i have not been impressed - and i'm not that picky, normally.

the new figs from the Avenger line (sans Loki, who is kinda cool - but not cooler than the GB version) are sucky.

however, my opinions aside, congrats to those who need a Hawkeye and enjoy this new one in particular. i know the SW Hawkeye is hard to find at a reasonable price these days.

Discount shelf? What's that?

Mine didn't. Few IMs and Thors here and there but it seems like they're ready to put out Avengers stuff but won't until next week. There's been a big empty space in the middle of the isle for about a week and a half so who knows.

Where I'm at there are clearance aisles that have nothing but crap that Walmart can't sell, but still at full price. That stuff isn't even good enough for Walmart, wtfuck?

You know, as bad as some of this articulation is, I don't think these figures are all that bad. i got the movie series Cap the other night at TRU, and with the exception of no waist articulation, I think he's a pretty cool figure. The sculpt and colors are excellent.

That said, though, once they go on sale, I'm gonna get an extra and try some modifications... i think I can resculpt the torso of the Pajama Cap figure to give him more movement, and incorporate joints into the ankles and wrists. And should resculpting fail, I could attempt a cut-waist swivel on the extra.

Cap, Hawkeye and Widow are the only ones I really want though. I'd grab Ult. Hawkeye if i found him, but mostly for custom fodder.

To bad, this is the only Ultimate Hawkeye I like. Everything else is...boring. Maybe some one will make a custom with alt head with no hair. Be pretty cool.

I just got this figure at WM. Love it.

By far one of the best sculpted Hasbro Marvel figures. Someone needs to do a cast of the CP Hawkeye's or Taskmasters's bow. I need a purple one for this guy...

I just picked this up with the thor and cap comic series versions, which are the ultimates. Pretty cool I like them.

I got Thor too. Passed on Ultimate Cap (for now) and got the maskless Pocket Grenade Cap. Pocket Rocket Cap might be going back.

I really like the Ultimate Thor as well. His sculpting is also superb. Too bad his hammer looks really plasticy and it keeps drooping.

These figures are missing 6 POA in comparison to Hasbro's "standard" fig articulation. The only points I wish they still had are the wrists.

I've seen that everyone's finding these a Wal-Mart and Toys R Us but has anyone seen anything in Target yet? I'm going to try Target and Wal-Mart tomorrow and I'm trying to get a heads-up on what to expect.

Targets and Walmarts should release the Avengers Toys Sunday, possibly Monday. Some Walmarts don't pay attention to street dates, and some Target employees will pull the toys from the back unknowingly for you if you ask nicely. Of course, you have to know they're there first.
