I got a headless Hawkeye today in the mail (Thank, man!) and the upper leg sculpt makes moving the legs forward impossible- there's this...lip...that would need to be sanded off for it to work.

Ultimate Thor does not have that issue, thankfully!

Still, I'm happy- I only needed the forearms and I got the rest as parts-fodder!

The sculpting on these is really great- I think the sculpting and articulation are seperate processes- with articulation reduced to trim costs on some lines- like the SW battle packs- those look cool untill you realise the utter lack of joints!

Went to Target and Wal-Mart and still no Cap. Wally World had the vehicles and big gimicky figures but no regular figures. Target seemed like they were about to redo the isle to make room for Avengers stuff because there were a lot of employees doing stock stuff. I'll just go to Wal-Mart on Monday. Luckily I borrowed Meta Gear Solid 4 from my friend so playing that all weekend should make it pass by pretty quick.

If you guys are expecting the Avengers stuff to be readily available in Wal-mart on Monday, you should probably be prepared to be disappointed.

They're being added into the modular on when it's reset during the week of March 4th.

Until next Wednesday/Thursday, they won't have a home location to go to, so most stores will probably hold them in the back until they do.

Target, on the other hand should be setting them at some point this weekend, so they should be on shelf by March 1st.

Picked Hawkeye up last night at Walmart. Those weapons are some of the flimsiest ever, especially that one handgun with the scope. That one was all sorts of warped.

I ended up using different handguns that barely squeeze into his holsters, which is a good thing because they will stay put. I *think* they are from the 3.75" Terminator series. I also tried various swords and knives to throw in his backpack rather than the missiles and they look great. I went with 2 knife accessories from old GI Joe toys. I'll throw up a pic later tonight.

My WM had single figures on the pegs behind MU. The deluxe figures had their own pegs.

Deluxe Avengers toys? That's the first I've heard of those being sold outside of TRU...

I was planning on going hunting for Hawkeye last night, but got too tired. I hope they're not all gone already!

1 Target I went to had a sign saying Avengers toys would be out by the 27th, and they were out today. Another hadn't got the reset started and just had the mini Thor Hammer for babies.

I don't get why this Hawkeye has ball jointed knees, when he has thigh swivels.

I stopped at the same two local Walmarts today as I did yesterday and both had their Avengers stuff out today. I picked up a Hawkeye.

Good to hear that they are officially starting to hit. I'll be trying my luck tomorrow when I go to pick up Justice League: Doom.

Picked up the movie Cap today. Wal-Mart had the same but Target had a good bit of the Avengers stuff. Decent enough figure but his elbows are a little loose. Not the up and down part but the left and right part (I have no idea what to call it). 8.99 is a bit pricey so for now I'm done (at least until Black Widow and Hawkeye are released) but I'm happy with him.

Here's a couple of pics:
Cap vs Dr. Doom

Cap on his bike

Avengers Assembled (so far...)

So he can sit down- since the Quinjet was supposed to come with a sky Cycle, it's likely Hawkeye was made for that cockpit.
The odd upper thinghs only go from standing to stitting politely poses.

Also that mini hammer rocks- we throw it at the cats when they start fighting.

I went today and my Walmart had the avengers stuff out. Only about 3 or 4 regular figures (picked up Ult. Thor) and they had the rest of the crap. But the mechs looked pretty sweet

It seems that all that has been released are 3.75 inch line. Anything in that scale is not worth my money at all. I would buy that Hawkeye if it was a bigger scale
