			Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone on here knows of any other sites to buy custom 3.75 inch scale head casts of various characters like movie characters, game characters etc. Obviously I know of Slayer, and have recently had a look at Onyx. But I was just wondering if anyone knew of any others just for some variety?? I have seen some stuff I want to order from both of those mentioned but there is some stuff im looking for that I cant find anywhere. any help/knowledge would be much appreciated. thanks.

yeh slayer are awesome. i made an order 2 months ago that hasnt turned up though, but it clearly says on their site that due to them making the transition to going full time and moving into a premises and with the hurricane there have been delayed. plus i think i ordered in the last pre order phase and now they aim to get stuff out in 3 weeks so shouldnt have to wait as long in the future.

i dont know how they make some of those head casts but they are awesome, especially of characters where there has never been a toy made of them like brad pitt. that broken arrow toys is a great one too, their daniel craig is very very good!

I have gotten sculpts from Alyosha. They were comprable to everyone else, but the wait time was a bit long. At the time I ordered, there were some complications on his end regarding personal issues. So I understand the extended time it took. But I have also heard that communication could be better with him.

I have been waiting on an order from him since Aug of last year. Communication with him shaddy at best. Consistantly says that he has sent it out or will make a new batch. I just want a confirmation # that actually works and says that there was an attempt to mail it to my house.

so Alyosha is the broken arrow guy??

thats a shame because he has a perfect daniel craig head cast. but if you have been waiting over a year for an order, i think i will avoid ordering from there. i dont see what could be going on in your life that it can take a year to send a few heads??? if you are unable to do the work anymore you should say that on the site instead of allowing people to order...surely?? SURELY!!!??

The worst part is that I saw him at the last Gi Joe convention in April and he had all the parts I ordered but could not just give them to me because they might have already been sent out. I don't think they were. Then he tells me he sent them to an old address one town over and again I ask for a confirmation #. I changed my address on his cart system. I'm not an idiot and the package still should of made it's way to me.

![]() have you contacted him again? tell him you are spreading word of his poor service and its spreading like wildfire. i was probably gonna order a few things from him but i dont think i will now.

Sllayer is good stuff and they have a forum to the website that's very friendly and people's customs there are amazing- lots of direct communication too.

with casting, it's all timing things right- these companies generally cast up big batches of parts overy couple of months or so on a basis of only what's been preordered. that means if you order just after they had their casting run, it'll take a couple of month's before they make your order. Casting is a pain for small stuff and Slayer's quality control is really good- meaning the casts dont have air bubbles or pinholes that need filling- which also means they have a lot of waste, so casting to order is just good business sense. |
