So with the transition from typical toy companies to small independent companies using crowd sourcing to fund their projects its hard to keep track of everything going on. Especially when the window for opportunity to participate is very small. I am going to endeavor to keep this thread updated with all the going ons for the crowd funding projects for Action Figures, especially in the 1:18 scale.

The next campaign is going to be the Eagle Force line by Fresh Monkey Fiction and Remco (division of ZICA Toys) with design by Boss Fight Studios and Eleventyplex (I think)

These figures do use some of the same molds as figures in the Captain Action and the Adventure People line.

The linked campaign was for a 1:18 version of the INVICTA Challenge. That one was cancelled half-way through and they did some restructuring and was able to land a deal with Barnes and Nobel but they had to change the scale to 1:12.

This is the 2nd iteration of the campaign that was successful.

Updates for Legends of the West. They changed the name to Dime Novel Legends. They are also running a promotion that if they get 1000 members for their Facebook group before October 1st (start of the campaign) they will have a drawing and give away one of the prototype figures.

Eagle Force Returns Kickstarter funded over the weekend! Now we just need more support so we can whip through all those stretch goals.

Eagle Force main campaign ended successfully.

Eagle Force Santini is being offered in another Kickstarter for action figure stands. There is still 6 days to go in that campaign but it doesn't look like its going to make it.

Eagle Force is going to open up pre-orders and will be including some stretch goals that were not met. Specifically Ultima Thule. I was really looking forward to that one.


Dime Novel Legends is only $5k from being funded.

Hell Screamerz starts Monday the 31st.

The Unrustable Bastards by Mayhem Mekanics
Original, 1/18th, biker gang styled, fully transformable highly detailed toy robots, has reached more than 100% backers and is currently in the process. I backed this one myself, and am waiting for their planned release in this mid 2017.

Beast of the Mesozoic by Creative Beast
1/6th scale scientifically accurate dinosaur action figures, with great detail and articulation. They have released their Raptor Series. And i believe a Triceratops is in the pipeline as well (which is something i'm rooted for). Although they scale it into the 1/6th, i believe it'd work great for other scales as well.
