Hi all. I’m new to the forum since I just started collecting, and I had a question. I’m on the road today and bought a used Jessica Jones Marvel Legends, but it turns out her eyes are pretty faded. Would I be able to just redo the paint apps with a small brush and some paint, or should I just swallow my pride and get a new one? I’ve included an image to hopefully help everyone see what the issue is. Thanks a bunch!

I don't think they are faded as much as blurry since they use that digital face scan paint technique. I'm not a fan. You could use a very fine brush and some paint to crisp up the edges. I took a normal brush and cut away all but 2 bristles. If it were me, though, I would repaint the entire eye white and start fresh.

Thirty minutes of trial and error and I managed to get a somewhat decent result. Once I get some brown paint I’ll try having my girlfriend take a swing. She’s better at painting than I am.

One thing is for sure- I’ll inspect figures before I buy them, even used. The eye issue is probably why this one was donated to the comic shop.

The figure is great. Really want to collect my own figures too.

I have a Jessica Jones on its way. I might redo the eyes as well.
