Hello all. First time poster here. My mother has appointed me the official "Go Through the Old Toys" person since she is downsizing to an apartment soon. It's been interesting finding a lot of my old toys in the attic just as I left them. My primary goal has been selling as my apartment is already at capacity and I've has some good luck so far with things I could identify. I've had a few moments (like discovering I owned a red eye Mumm-Ra) that have made this effort worth the time invested. Plus I've played with most of them before they find a new home!

I've been browsing the net for an hour or two trying to find this play set. All I know about it is that it's stamped Blue-Box Toys on the underside. It's mixed in with other small play sets and some Micro Machine sets so I probably have other parts for it. I've been having little luck finding it anywhere. I'd really appreciate the help!

I have this same set and I've wanted more information on it for years. In searching for it online, your post was the ONLY sign of it's existence that I could find. I figured I'd post some pictures and info to see if it would help identify one of my favorite childhood toys. I still have most of the pieces and figures, so you can see what originally came with it.

Here's absolutely everything I can remember about these toys:

In the photos above, you're seeing two separate sets. However, when I first saw these toys, it was in one large set. Instead of the four main structures connected by two angled tunnels, it was three main structures connected by one "T" intersection tunnel. If memory serves, it was basically something like this:

This product was on the shelves in Belgium at a supermarket called GB around 1997/1998. The aliens in the set are obvious knock-offs of the creatures from the Alien movies, which my friends and I were huge fans of, so we would drool over this set on the shelves. I never got the chance to get this product before moving back to America. I figured it was only available in Europe and assumed I'd never see it again. But then in 1998/1999, I saw the two smaller versions in a KB Toys store and purchased them.

A lot of the pieces are interchangeable, all connecting to the main structures and vehicles with pegs of the same size, allowing kids to mix and match weapons & accessories as they please. Here are the sets with most of the pieces removed:

The aliens and humans each came in two variants. The humans either had open helmets and a handgun or closed helmets with a two-handed weapon. The aliens were either facing forward or looking downward and off to the side.

Like you, the only info I've been able to find is the "Blue Box Toys - Made in China" on the bottom of the main structures. I'd love to see the box art again for nostalgia's sake, or at the very least, geek out with others who had these things.

This is a years-old thread, but I love this stuff. This looks like a knockoff of it. Just go to eBay and search for VTG ALIEN HIDDEN ADVENTURES SPACE ZONE BLUE-BOX No. 34110 ALIEN KO GIGER

Thank you so much!

I’m glad I came back to this thread all these years later.

Googling “Hidden Adventures” is bringing back so many memories. I had the castle set too.
