Kotobukiya Bishoujo catwoman statue

I only really have this statue because she came with duela but besides the watermelon sized overly exposed breast she’s pretty good, and the cats are a adorable touch.

I didn’t know how I was going to feel about this statue but I actually really like her.
She looks like a femme fatal with a steam punk twist and I absolutely love it.

I like that Duela Dent, not familiar with her so I googled her, quite a convoluted history!

While her story is convoluted, I found it quite entertaining when she fought with Harley.

I’ve been searching for duela at a good price forever, and now that I have her I can say she was easily worth the wait.

I just got the square enix play arts kai Tetsuya nomura Harley Quinn figure.

Her armor is really cool, the figure was missing the skirt armor but I honestly like it better without it.



Here she is in all her glory, I love the contrast between the white dress and the red and black accessories. I also can’t get over how good the headsculpt is. Between the hair, the cute nurses cap, and the cloth eye coverings it’s just so unique and striking.





After years of searching I finally found the diamond select marvel gallery Medusa statue, and wow she was worth the wait
I absolutely adore this statue she has a beautiful sculpt and a perfect paint job, she is pretty much perfection.

First time seeing this harley quinn version. It was really different.

The Medusa statue looks really beautiful. Using hair as a base is a great idea. A very detailed and different statue. I am so glad you found this essential piece for your collection. Congratulations.

I truly believe you can never have enough Harleys, and this is a cool take on the character. I have to say the Medusa is just jaw-dropping, and to have searched for years, it must feel unreal finally having it, biggest of congrats!!

Thanks, and I agree the hair as the base is pretty igneous.
You may not be able to see it in the pic but her feet aren’t even touching the ground!

It was indeed unreal to find her after so long, and I am a firm believer in never having too many Harley’s as well.

Speaking of Harleen I actually have her Bishoujo statue coming in the mail soon and I can wait to post pics.

Tetsuya Nomura does some strange designs, but in Harley's case I think it works because Harley's a strange character. She's a nurse (doctor really), but she has an armored form. The armor can form onto the giant syringe to form a giant mallet. That's some wacky design and it looks great! Congrat on that.

Ame-Comi and Bishoujo statues are the best, and this is just a stellar haul

I definitely love all of these, but have to agree on that Poison Ivy, I've always thought that was one of the best Bishoujos of all time. And with your avatar, you clearly needed it

That's a nicely made diorama. It's BIG too! I have mixed feelings about dioramas, on one hand, it enhance the display, on the other hand, it takes up space. I already don't have enough shelve space to display my figures, I don't want to lose more space to stairs and stones.

A little off topic, but that reminds me of these outhouses in Chinese farmlands in the old days. Since the ground's too soft to dig, people often would basically form these concrete tubs above ground, top if off with a wooden floor with a hole in the middle, and then build a windowless wooden hut on top, with a few holes near the top of the walls for venting. You access the door via a few concrete or wooden steps that are next to the "poop tub". Stinks to the high heavens especially in the summer, think port-a-potty without the benefit of blue chemicals and being drained after every event, but when you gotta go...you gotta go! ha ha.

File that under "things I didn't need to know." ha ha.

I agree about dioramas but I just decided to take a leap and make it a one time thing.

And it actually reminds me of the Chinese huts too lol!
