What's Up With That Screenname?!?

Your screenname, username whatever. Is there a meaning behind it, how did you pick it, what's the deal, basically what is the story surrounding your choice of interwebz handle.

Being a huge Transformers fan and being a child of the 80's, the '86 movie was a huge deal to a 6 year old

and I loved the new character of Ultra Magnus. I can't place exactly why, I was young, but I thought he was cool. That always stuck with me and I kept a spot just for UM. On the other hand I always was more into the Decepticons, it's always more fun to be the bad guy, so naturally, black repaints are my thing. So I took them both and created BlackMagnus. I started using it on another TF fan site back in '07, so imagine my delight when FansProject announced Shadow Commander! It was fate really and I had to have it. Preordered!! He is now, and has always been the crown jewel in my collection.

Now it's turn, so, what's up with that screenname?

Great idea for a thread. Mine is something i've been using for a long time on every forum ive been on so its kinda stuck with me. Kinda has to do with Alpha/Omega, the beginning and the end and how in the life cycle of things everything always comes to an end. The numbers were just something I choose to pick because obviously just Omega was chosen.

This is neat idea for a thread Magnus.

That being said, my screenname is a bit of a play on words. In the game "Oddworld Strangers Wrath" there is a race of badass creatures called "Steef" that are thought to have gone extinct. (Play the game if you haven't already, its amazing) And then the other source for my name is "Master Chief" from the Halo Series, so taking the names of two of my favorite characters and smashing them together makes..."Mastersteef".

A buddy from work insists on calling me Tiberius. He says I remind him of a character from a book series he reads? I don't know. Also Captain Kirk's middle name is Tiberius, and the actor and I share the same birthday. He is also Canadian, so it works haha.

I use Miketime on every forum. It was a nick name given to me by friends who fought over who got to spend time with me. I also go by Michael the time. great topic.

I mainly did it after the pillsbury doughboy but I do get Ice Cube from boyz n the hood a lot lol

lol.. doesn't make a difference to me what color or race anyone is, I just honestly thought that was the reason for your screen name.

..there's no logic behind it, but I also think when people have a female as an avatar that they're females in real life (some guy on TFW flipped out because I called him "lady" --shouldn't have been using that Chun Li avi then, pal!).

LOL I thought the same thing with Crazy Jetty lol. The Girl avatar and the pink pony in his Sig didn't help any lol. But he didn't flip about it.

I remember I started the one at Hisstank, so long ago...

Anyway, my name comes from my love of two people, Snake-Eyes and Deadpool.

Snake-Eyes went by the name of the Silent Master during his tenure as leader of the Arashikage clan (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

And Deadpool is called the Merc with a Mouth.

I'm a very boisterous person in real life so I decided I would be a very loud master.

Their code names were given, but if they didn't want you to know their file names they would be CLASSIFIED.

Favorite character in the marvel universe is the story of the symbiote. Nothing fancy here. I first got on this board for marvel updates but its also great to see transformer and star wars stuff as well.

Funny you say that on top of your other post. Now that you mention it, everytime I was talking to Do Boy (or seeing his posts) I thought it was Ice Cube at the other end lol.
