Lol wow. I mean good for Storm Collectibles, but really how BIG of a market will there really be for these? Especially if these are $65 on up figures? Personally I wouldn't think much, but I could be wrong.

I'd rather they stick with finishing up already started licenses like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter.

Don't give this company any more ideas! They've got way too many licenses as it is.

I am excited for these; partly because they can do 3 heroes and actually be "done" with a license. I was looking at Shao Kahn last night and was thinking about how they have a great idea with the armor being the soft plastic and can use the body parts for whoever else. I'm sure these guys will be doing some of that.

Depending on how they look, I may just add these figures to my Mythic Legions.

They're generic enough designs that I'd imagine they'd be able to fit in with other lines relatively seamlessly.

I figure you'll get the main three in standard colors, then perhaps a variant of those. They could easily use the Shao Kahn body base for Death Adder/Death Bringer and the Bad Brothers. And just about any of the enemies already have preset color variants thanks to the game.

One step closer to Streets of Rage figures.

I guess it's time to just send Storm a check of all my life savings at this point...

And yeah, I remember this game. Ah, the golden age of side-scrollers...

However, Storm already seems to have trouble releasing figures on a regular basis. It seems like they're announcing random new licenses every other day, how can they possibly keep up?

I guess they pump out these announcements to maintain perpetual excitement about the company but yeah, the constant fluff announcements does have an air of vaporware to it, IMO.
Who knows if these will ever come out ...hope they do before the rubber on the Storm figures we already own starts deteriorating.

It's funny because I don't own a single Storm figure yet, but I'm already gearing up to give them a ton of money in 2019-20. Golden Axe is one of my truly favorite game series, so I'm allllll over these guys. I hope they come with the little green and blue gnome guys that carry the sacks of food and mana potions.

It's Yoshiaki Yoneshima actually. Julie Bell did the cover for Ax Battler which was one of the sequels to Golden Axe.

Storm need to calm down on the new licenses and move forward with the lines they've already got. By the time i finish my Mortal Kombat collection humans be living on mars.
