Another captain America, Winter Soldier, and Iron Man figure from Marvel select??? what are they up to with these 3 specific characters? is this the 10th version of these figures produced from them ?? i know people will say "well it's the versions from Civil war Movie".... didn't the versions from Winter solider and avengers etc look just about alike??

I really do love marvel select, but that was a big reason i got into legends, MS just lacks a variety of characters and continue to do the same ones over and over again.

Idk What you mean By whats up with them lol,This is the third Bucky (If you count bucky cap} And the first Movie Bucky, its the 5th Cap, And the 9th Iron Man, Which nearing 119 figures isnt really that bad. The winter Soldier Cap looked nothing like this...And No cap Or iron man figure for either Avengers were made. The Only characters MS really repeats Is Iron Man, Thor, And Cap, All the sculpts are unique, And the price point is great. Hasbro i just couldnt get over the same buck for every figure basically ya know?

lol, Hasbro has produced at least double the amount of Captain America/Iron Man figures, let alone the number of figures that are basically repaints of them (plus a different head e.g. Red guardian)

On topic, I am not impressed by any of these. Instead of making movie versions of the characters maybe they should focus their efforts into making a definitive classic Captain America cause the last one they made was a joke.

Yeah, it's a real shame that Marvel Select has so few releases a year & it's always the same characters. I'd love to see them tackle the people we don't see that often (Luke Cage, Medusa, Iron First, etc.).

I know it's probably not their fault and the higher-ups at Marvel/Disney dictate a lot of of what they can put out, but it's sad to see such talented sculpts reserved for the same characters.

This looks like the ML version...okay? But it looks way better and knowing select, they will do the hip joints right.

Plus extra hands and a base.

Nope, it's just Ike Perlmutter's fault really. He was the reason the first wave of 2012 ML Movie Avengers didn't have a Black Widow made. He has been notoriously blamed for having declared a Black Widow figure not be made because girl figures don't sell, based on his trend analysis data from when he was head of Marvel Toys.

I'm sure similar "trend analysis" and other Key Performance metrics were responsible for the lack of diversity in this line. The name of the game is budget and bottom line first, figure out cust SAT after you make money.
