This is definitely a nice looking toy. Wonder if some fast packs are in the works. I think I'll wait to see what a Roy Focker version would be like.

Cool. When you do, let us know what you think. I've really been debating whether to get this version, or pay for the Yamato 1/60.

Cool man, how much did you pay for it? I EAGERLY want Bandai to scale it up, add an internal heatshield and retractable landing gear, and opening canopy, in 1/55 scale and sell it as a DX VF-1 1/55 2.0.

I'll even take a 1/72 scale version and we can call it the SCHMpro VF-1.
