They also have the pattern design by the Cap figures as well as the scraped shield. They're definitely going to make one.

I hope so, too.

I'm sure it'll never happen, but since they are going to be doing another very large run of shields anyway, they should allow people with damaged ones from the original release to send it in for replacement.

Looking around I found this solution I thought would be logic to be tested and proven: using a top coat.

Yes! I was hoping they'd put out the updated First Avenger suit for this line. I know the third red stripe is a minor detail, but it makes it just that much more evocative of the comic uniform. I'll be buying that one for sure.

What are the odds that we'll be getting a more accurate Chris Evans portrait? If I recall, none of the other Hot Toys sculpts have nailed his likeness yet.

Oh god, my wallet is going to have a fit. Falcon and Black Widow are first for me, Captain America last. His design is just too meh for me, plus I have the Avengers one so I'll put off the preorder for later.

I already have the Avengers Widow and I kinda like the skin tight "Leather" outfit better than this one. I really want to see the heads from this one and the Avengers one side by side.

I will be rebudgeting my collecting plans for the foreseeable future to ensure I can get that Black Widow. The Avengers one is superb.

I like the costume a lot. But the sculpt just seems off in terms of her expression. I wanted her eyebrows to have more emotion than just this blank stare.

Just getting into the Hot Toys game myself [Got Coulson and The Wolverine] Widow is PERFECT for my movieverse version of "Secret Avengers". Totally getting Widow, and may go for that Hulk/Banner set too.
