Hello hasbro…..crickets.

This looks nice, the prices are high but if hasbro doesn’t announce if he is in the second wave of spider-man 3, I may have to jump.

Very nice! Problem is his facial expression. He needs to show his creepy smile showing all his teeth. Hopefully there’ll be an alternate head sculpt for that.

I would've preferred the complete Raimi-look, not a huge fan of this “Hobogoblin”-design.

It's the more relevant look for the movie though, so it’s probably for the best they release it like this.

Badly needs a grinning Defoe head but looking promising considering it’s ultimately just an evolution of the garbage Raimi design. Will they actually release it though or is it just another sculpt doomed to the vaults ala Vision et al? The ‘Display Only’ sign has me wondering as Obi-Wan’s lists a price and date.

If only. I know I'm not the only one thats been wanting great figures of villains. Wake me when they're ready to take pre-orders and show us more detailed pictures...hope the face sculpts get back to their very good standards. Find it a bit sad we're getting these now after all these years (I know its based on the more recent movie but still) but yeah better late than never?

Please include a grinning head, I’m loving the smiling face on the Toby Maguire Spiderman figure. They can pose and be buds together.

That was my first thought. That evil smile sort of brings the entire look together.

PWToys is making one that has a creepy head smile. I might grab that and put that head on this for crazy head Gobby

Definitely a miss not to include a DeFoe smile headsculpt. Say what you will about the Goblin suit, but it was Defoe's smile that sold me as the Goblin, he didn't even need a mask!

Yep, they almost doubled what it’s worth. Going to look to alternatives

Edit: Hobby-genki has it pretty close to msrp. With shipping total still $60 cheaper than BBTS’s $224. First time trying them out, willing to chance it.

Sorry but this is insane.
They ask such a Price for a 16 centimetre Figure.
Same Price as an 1/6 Hot Toys Figure.
I can only advice People, do NOT throw that cash at Bandai
for such a Price. Because if you do, these Prices
become the standard for every damn Figuarts Figure.

I am not paying 120$+ for a Dragon Ball Figure.
That is the Line where the "Fun" in Collecting ends.

Although I agree to refuse to pay higher price for same old things, I like seeing companies who are passionate about toys and improve their technologies with each figure release. Hot Toys prices go up but their quality goes up too, generally speaking. Same with Bandai where you can feel the quality in hand.

I can see this Green Goblin is better than what has come out before so I'm not against paying for this. On the other hand we have Hasbro recycling the same engineering for the last 10+ years with minor improvements and increasing price. They may look similar to Bandai's quality but their toys feel like utter garbage. I would say no to that stuff. And Medicos recycling the same Jojo molds from the last decade and increasing price with every re-release, that's a no from me too.

For me it seems like a Greedy Cash Grab.
The Dragon Ball Figures are the best example.
I NEVER had any breakage Issues on them.
All Son Gokus are Perfect - for a 50$ Figure.

So I can clearly not understand, why they refuse
to bash out Green Goblin for 80$.
New Technology does not justify a Double or Triple Price Tag.

They can put out $50 Dragon Ball figures because most of it is reuse. If you look at the new Future Trunks that one is more expensive because of new tooling. He’s at the same price range as Super Saiyan Vegeta 2.0 when that figure first came out. The re-release of that vegeta is a $40 figure. They know a reuse is worth less than a new figure. I have been collecting the DBZ Figuarts from the beginning and I have to say the older figures had better paint jobs on the bodies, facial details were sculpted instead of decals. The newer ones have better articulation so it’s a trade off. The mainline figures have pretty much stayed at the same price for the last 10 years for Dragon Ball.

This Goblin is from the premium line, all new tooling and limited production run. They know it’s not for everyone and the price won’t be the new norm.

I say it's better to buy this than say, one of the old ToyBiz Green Goblin figures

Nowadays those figures go for the same price as this new one (sometimes even higher) even if they are broken or missing pieces, and while I have one (the battle damage version) and love it, it's rather outdated and shows it's age.

For this, you're actually getting something good with your money
