I won't comment on Miller since it would probably be deemed too political, but they haven't been convicted of anything.

As for Gunn, not sure why he is a "pedo". Outside of Suicide Squad he hasn't done anything with DC that has been released yet. Black Adam, Shazam 2, The Flash, Aquaman 2, and Blue Beetle were all made before he took over. So these last few movies have nothing to do with his work. He is currently working on Superman Legacy.

Sad that Miller's behavior has to be categorized as "political".

Look up that story from five or so years ago where Gunn took down hundreds of tasteless Tweets and tell everyone he doesn't need his hard drive inspected.

I'll say it: I liked this movie. I thought it was great. I was prepared to hate it and was shocked that I liked it. Easily one of the best DCEU movies, not that that's a difficult accomplishment. The star should have been canned far before it shot and gotten help (or jail time) but they're in the movie and that's that. They did a good job (even if they're trash irl) and the visual effects were atrocious but in service of the story rather than a replacement for one, so I can roll it.

And on the minuscule chance I've piqued someone's interest, here's my ranking of the rest of this universe:

They’re all bad, imo. They just don’t capture the DC universe correctly. I think the animated DC movies are much better.

Really dislike Cavill Superman, and I think it’s still the worst portrayal of Superman ever. Zack’s Superman is inspired by Injustice Superman? HORRIBLE!!! I don’t hate Affleck’s Batman, but his best portrayal is in BVS and that’s not saying much. I like Aquaman in his classic getup but he is still just miscast. Wonder Woman is the best of the team, but she still isn’t a very good actress and I hate her high heel boots. Hate Cyborg and Flash, and I think they’re the worst versions in the Justice League, but they can’t be worst than Superman, he’s so friggin’ bad. I hate Zack’s mopey Superman so much.

I really hate Suicide Squad. I want nothing to do with any of their action figures or any merchandise based on them. I want them gone and never seen again. Suicide Squad (both films) is the most annoying thing that ever existed from DC. Harley Quinn has become so unlikeable to the point I despise the entire film because of her. She’s still a bad guy and I like that, but she’s very annoying, and she’s better off keeping her mouth shut and sticking to Joker as a sidekick.

Hate hate hate! Omg, DC is just filling my head with hatred! It’s insane how bad they are!!

The best DC film so far is The Flash. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s true. Really like Supergirl’s serious portrayal and even though it may be inaccurate compared to the comics, but I think the serious attitude from Supergirl is a lot more fitting. Calle Supergirl knew how to be serious at the right time, unlike Cavill Superman. Keaton’s Batman (which is also not exactly comic accurate) is an awesome thing to see in a movie.

I’ll be checking out Blue Beetle if it comes on Max.
