That is surprising--don't know how you would consider Calisto or Jason/Mastermind "Wolverine"-centric characters. I was only interested in Mastermind, so I guess this will be a pass for me (for a change!).

So hasblow teases these figs as possibly single releases then, in typical hasbro fashion, gives us the middle finger by making it some stupid 5 pack exclusive. Man fuck hasbro.

They usually wait until after it's been released. So January/February most likely.

Better stagnant on Amazon as a boxset, than peg-warming every store shelf as a wave. Anyone who thinks these figures would actually move on their own at retail is simply fooling themselves. At least now the figures/characters exist in some capacity for those that want them, and still give room for another possible X-wave in the near future.

I'm not seeing the problem here.

The $121 price tag is slightly more expensive than the new MSRP of $23.

The Hasbro crew admits on-air that they reuse parts, didn't realize having "bucks" was some big secret.

Wolverine is still a pretty popular character amongst the older comic book crowd and this one has some uniqueness to it.

Omega Red is a little expensive online, so this is a good second chance for folks (but by all means feed a "dirty scalper" instead).

Calisto and Mastermind are classic X-Men characters, that shelf wouldn't be the same without them.

Cyber is about as D-List as they come, this has "pegwarmer" written all over it, probably the best place for a character like this.

And in no universe are characters like Ironheart, Xemnu, Theta Sentinel and Frogman considered "Marvel Legends". It's just branding pal.

Sweet. Something else that can be stolen off my step like the X-Men SDCC set was!

This set seems like it'd have worked way better as single releases.

That Wolverine is gonna be all over Ebay for dirt cheap when it hits.

This is crap. Stinky, smelly, 110 degrees in the sun pile of Bantha Poodoo. I was interested in Callisto to make custom Dreadnok ladies and Jason for my Hellfire Club. Hasbro and Amazon can keep it even if it goes down to $.03. Saving my money for all the new Joes except BBQ piece of junk figure. Lazy way to give Amazon a boxed set for 2021.

Yeah, I wasn't looking forward to seeing Cyber junking up every peg at Gamestop from here to Timbuktu, so this is a plus.

Anyway, when box sets are good, people complain about scalper bots and Hasbro making "core" characters an exclusive. When box sets are bad, people complain that the set is junk, lazy, and overpriced.

There's no winning for Hasbro here, but I'd take a box set everyone hates over the lamest possible X-wave ever with these guys anyday.

Jeez, I knew they were going to be increasing the prices this year, but I didn't realize it was $60 a figure. Oh well. I need Callisto and Wyngarde.

This box set is perfect... you guys are nutty. go read the comics with cyber in it from the 90's... not used as much as he should of been but its fun reads. the only thing suffering in this box set is the heads of wolverine but that's easily fixed by using the head of a hugh jackman wolverine figure...

Oh wow... I am now happy they didn't reveal Banshee in this wave... geeze. That shirtless Wolvie really ruins the value of that set IMO.

This is a good set for hardcore Marvel or Marvel Legends fans. You're not wasting a retail wave and you're not wasting a build-a-figure.

And let's be honest, if you're here referring to the company as "Hasblo" there was no announcement that was going to satisfy you.

I like the Wolverine and Omega Red but don't think I wanna pay full price for the two of them. Maybe if/when it hits clearance or something.

Pre-ordered the set for Wolvy, mostly due to those headsculpts being the best unmasked versions of comic Wolvy ever, will utilize them on classic Tiger strip & Brown versions. Also keeping Mstermind, other 3 will be sold off on evilbay as I've never been a big fan of any of em. Had they given Cyber alternate fist hands & alternate yelling /angry head sculpt, he mighta been a keeper.
