I can see a lot of sickos doing horrific things to that Black Window figure in the privacy of their own homes.

That said, both she and Spidey look great, but it looks like Hot Toys is going a little overboard on the skin texture detail. Or is that just me?

The body is not made by TBLeague/Phicen so it's probably not anatomically correct. Their newer figures are very anatomically correct.

That battle damaged Vader is pretty neat I guess, but it would've been really cool if they'd included a Sebastian Shaw headsculpt alongside the Haydem Christensen one.

That would have been nice, although I think Disney is hell-bent on not using anything from the George Lucas version of Star Wars. Don't be surprised when they try to replace the original trilogy sometime down the road.

No, I see them very much consistently building the whole modern franchise around a George Lucas version of Star Wars, specifically the version where George did a bunch of mostly dumb changes to his own films and considers it """improved""". They maintain his "final" versions of the films as the canon ones, despite not actually being the best versions of the movies. If anything, it feels like successfully and totally memory-holing Sebastian as Vader would be George's wish.

We can agree to disagree, I see Disney shitcanning everything Lucas did and making their own version of Star Wars. That way they don't have to pay him royalties for usage of his Star Wars IP, Yeah he sold them the franchise, but he still gets a cut of stuff that they use of his original design. Disney needs to save as much money as possible so that they can bail out employees being arrested for the illegal activity.

Hehehehe funny and ironic... It was George Lucas who first perfected the concept of milking a blockbuster movie for everything its worth by over saturating the market with products... Disney just perfected it, as they do... so I love the fact they own Starwars. seems poetic.

Anyhoo, back to Hottoys... just got a notice Deadpool comes out soon, not the usual year or two wait...

The difference between Lucas and Disney is that Lucas offered a saturation of product that was exciting and appealed to most sciencefiction fans.

I know plenty of people who have no problems with the Disney Starwars. It’s really mostly a very tiny vocal minority. I saw Rise of Skywalker with friends and family. We all enjoyed it. It was stupid and senseless space action like all of them before it. Whole theater was cheering and laughing through the whole movie. Wasn’t til I got home and saw social media where I learned I was SUPPOSED to be angry and hate Disney for ruining my childhood.

Sorry, but I refuse to take serious anyone who cries over starwars being bad NOW when it’s no different then it’s ever been (always poorly written, acted, and oversaturated). 25 years ago everyone was crying about Lucas performing sodomy upon their childhoods. Now it’s Disney. In 30 years, kids who grew up on the sequels will be complaining about how Starwars Episode 22 ruined THEIR perfect childhood memories. Ya’ll are silly to take this so seriously.

I refuse to take anyone seriously who shills for disney, I don't know how they walk around with their heads that far up their butt, but they do. If it were a small vocal minority, disney star wars fans wouldn't be crying about it so much. The mountain of unsold disney star wars merchandise at Ollie's says otherwise. It's so bad that very few people buy original trilogy stuff anymore, Which also can be seen at ollie's. Miraculously Darth Vader is still popular and a few EU characters but that's all.

This. I'm old enough to remember people crapping over RotJ for being a rehash of ANH. Then the special editions came out and a bunch of losers made hating them their whole personality. Every generation of SW the same thing.
