Yeah if these were more reasonably priced, I'd be down. What I'd really be interested in are Fire & Ice figures.

Is this an action figure or a statue? It looks like it has 3 points of articulation and that they are only swivel. At that price it had better have 15 to 20 points of articulation. Boss Fight blanks have better articulation and cost less.

This is my question. How do you expect to sell a "figure" without details on construction? It says "retro", so does that mean 5 POA?

I'll pre-order right now with 9-15 POA, but not at 5 (or less).

From that pic looks like at least 7 poa. So assuming the bottom half isn't completely static, that's about 9 right there. I don't know it's all seems very limiting to me...at best you'd be able to pose him rigidly holding his axe and shield or holding his axe with both hands but forget about replicating anything from the paintings and comics, ain't happening.

Btw there was an announcement a few years back of mezco doing some frazetta figures, what ever happned with that?

I believe it's action figure and statue combined.

cool like any junk they call deluxe, the figure has 2 acessories a pair of hands and a base, and seems to be poor articulated and they call deluxe, for 25 bucks you get a hasbro two pack, with 2 better articulated figures plus acessories

In their defense, Amok Time is a small outfit so they really can't afford to do Hot Toys-quality stuff. I'm sure if they had the budget they'd have higher-quality figures at more affordable prices.

But that being said, they were still able to sell their Re-Animator figure for $20, which was fairly reasonable. $30 kinda crosses the line. They should consider doing Kickstarters to fund these projects, like Marauder Gun Runners does with their figures.

They should've done this as a single figure with swappable helmets and arms, that along with the base and accessories might've made the $30 price tag seem less severe.

I'd be down for a few of these at $20. They would have gone perfectly well with my V-Hacks.
