Cool, thank you for the heads up. My figure had a broken piece right out of the packaging, and attempts to get a replacement thus far has been the equivalent to getting teeth pulled and getting your insurance to cover it. It has been close to three months now of back and forth emails, and I have gotten to the point of considering buying a whole new torso and chest armor piece for for him off of ebay so I can just be done with it already. The whole experience with Sideshow has become extremely frustrating, and has somewhat soured my experience a bit, because it really is an astonishing figure. I really hope you enjoy him.

Some things to note, do take care when messing with the leg holster, as it is not made of die-cast metal like the majority of the figure, and pay careful attention to the articulated fingers, as the individual joints pop out of the sockets fairly easily, and can be easily lost due to their small size. These weren't the defects I encountered, but I thought I would relay this advice.

The defect I encountered was a small broken peg that juts out of Robocop's armor on his back. It is not a part of the mold, and is a glued piece that somehow managed to break off during the shipping to me. It's another thing to look out for. Hopefully you will not have to endure any of these frustrations and will be able to enjoy this masterpiece.

Thanks for the heads up. The place triple boxes all their items when shipped in the U.S., so I hope it arrives intact. This is my first 1/6 scale figure purchase, so I plan to be super careful with it.

You have taken your first step into a larger world. I told myself I would be one and done with Hot Toys and now I have 7 with plans to buy more. The grasping power is strong with them!

Thankfully, there isn't much in the way of characters they put out that I would buy. I don't collect anything Marvel. I have a few Batman figures, but nothing I would spend more than $100 on. The lone exception to this would be Tron 1982 figures.

The Marty McFly figure is pretty cool.

Though that would have to be one of those things where I trade a high end item for it or something.

Also hoping this ships out today so I can have it for a weekend photo shoot.
I feel ya there, man. I've been selling things just to keep going with the Masterpiece Transformers figures...:

I'd go all out with the RoboCop offerings if I could. That'd be Robo with the chair, Muprhy, and ED-209. I'd really like that RoboCop 2 (Cain) replica puppet from Tippet as well.

For now, these NECA figures will have to do. *sigh*

Thankfully, I've only felt like picking and choosing with the MP Transformers. Being very patient with them has paid off, as I've been able to get them for better prices at NJCC or elsewhere. I'll grab Bumblebee eventually and likely Wheeljack and Magnus.

As for Hot Toys, if I ever see the ED-209 at a price I can't pass up, that would be a possibility. Ben taking on more freelance work, so that helps a bit.
