Ok, so new on here and I don't feel like digging. Does anyone know where to preorder sting from the wwe defining moments collection besides wbcollect? I'm not sure if I should use them.

It is not up yet at Ringside, but keep an eye out. I have ordered a few times from them and the 1 issue I had (A casket I ordered a hinge broke right out the package) the sent a replacement after 1 e-mail. |

Pre-Orders | Ringside Collectibles
It is not up yet at Ringside, but keep an eye out. I have ordered a few times from them and the 1 issue I had (A casket I ordered a hinge broke right out the package) the sent a replacement after 1 e-mail. Ringside also carries loose versions of figures no longer available, at prices that put Ebay to shame. I ordered a Kane and NWO Randy Savage Elite about a year or go from them, and the figures came in NEAR FLAWLESS condition...I seriously believe they were fresh from the box, cause there was no sign of wear or tear, or even a loose joint on the things. Best part was I picked up both figures for under 25 bucks. They also have a special partnership with Mattel, so they occasionally will get exclusives not available anywhere else. Speaking of Ebay, they also have a nice Ebay store that's worth checking out. Here's a link... ringsidec on eBay I'm sure Sting will be popping up soon. I've been keeping an eye out for him as well! Hope those links help William! |

so what they are doing. Sting first appearance, Betrayal Sting, nWo Wulfpack Sting, etc. The sad part those are the only defining moments I remember of Sting

You can look the pic up. It's crow sting. Sting was the face of wcw, he was the John cena/bret hart of wcw. So he's worthy of a defining moment character.

I went ahead and pre-ordered from wbcollect. Figure I'll give them a try. If all goes well I'll be preordering the neca penguin 1/4 scale and arkham knight batman.

Sting wore a lot of colorful costumes over the year, and had a great career full of moments. His fueds with the Great Muta, Ric Flair, Big Van Vader, and Hulk Hogan all come to mind. Unless he is totally misused and bombs out of the WWE, with all the different looks he's had over the years, I could very easily see Sting figures filling up the pegs the way Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara figures still do now. |

It'll be the Crow version of Sting. As for the "defining moment", it'll most likely be his first appearance as the Crow gimmick, or his final match with WCW against Ric Flair (the night Vince Mcmahon appeared on Nitro.)

Not sure what you're disagreeing with me on. The defining moment figure will probably be Sting's only figure for that line, as there have been no repeat wrestlers yet with that wave of figures, with each wrestler selected having only one representation thus far. I have no doubt in my mind though that we will see more than one Sting figure before his time is through though, possibly as an Elite (which I'm calling right now, will be classic "surfer" Sting), and I definitely believe we will be seeing him in the basic assortments featuring many of his colorful get-ups over the years. (A Sting / Ultimate "Dingo" Warrior battlepack I could very easily see...and it would be awesome...) As for the value...that has yet to be determined, first WWE figure or not. Figure value is always subjective to many different things, including variants, how rare it is, etc. Defining Moments Randy Savage was not the first Mattel figure of Randy Savage, but is one of the most coveted of him because the figure released weeks before his sudden death, causing a posthumous frenzy among collectors. Kane has had countless figures over the year, but it's the Ringside Collectibles Exclusive "Kane Unmasked" that drives the highest price for The Big Red Machine. In that same regards, while many Ebay sellers are charging an arm and a leg for DM Hogan due to it being his first Mattel figure, I'm seeing him everywhere warming on shelves. The only people who are falling for that are the ones that MUST have their Hulk Hogan, or simply don't know any better and haven't done enough searching. In the end, when it comes to value, it all comes down to the general rule, it's only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay for it. =) |

Yup, you're right. That's definitely Sting from Starrcade 1997. The padding on the shoulders is the giveaway.

They are still taking orders for Razor, who looks to be in stock this coming March. Beat the Ebay sellers at their own game and snatch up a preorder there while you can! |

Believe me I meant absolutly no Disrespect to Stinger (I have a TNA Sting t-shirt) he was to WCW what Hogan was to the WWF in the 80's. I didn't watch WCW until nWo era so I don't remember much from his career.

None taken. But his crow get up is his defining moment without doubt.

The Razor Ramon figure is a Ringside Collectibles exclusive at the moment if I am correct, and can only be purchased there. It's also currently on back order. The recent Ric Flair DM was also a Ringside exclusive, but it eventually found it's way to KMart in small quantities, as Kmart does get WWE exclusives other stores do not. It's quite possible Razor might be a similar timed exclusive.
