Cat with mouse but not tom & jerry

Hi guys. I'm really stumped by this one.
They look cartoonish considering the eyes and playful idea, are these characters from an old show or something?

These guys stand just over 12 inches tall, they are quite firmly stuffed and it's pretty heavy all things considered.
