Well this came out of (K)nowhere, huh?

Thing is, if you want this, this renders the individual GOTG vol. 2 retail figure useless. Otherwise a good set, plus worth it for having a Marvel Kurt Russell action figure.

I heard on one of these figure news sites that Starlord in the two pack will come with a Walkman on his belt that the single packed figure doesn't have. I don't know where they heard that because I haven't heard many people talking about it, but the figures might be a bit different if that changes your decision making.
It is annoying either way because I just bought a Starlord before being aware of this two-pack.

Oh, cool! I haven't seen an actual picture of it yet! Are you going to double dip and get the two pack? I'm considering it. . .

Thanks for the "transparency" in the description, lol. Would hate for some nerd to have a brain aneurysm because the cameras picked up on a defect you guys didn't mention.

This is a really nice two-pack. I'd love to pick it up.

I got my set in 4 days ago and I like it a lot. I actually like how the Ego heads are only subtly different as opposed to Hasbro maybe taking it too far and having either a doofus smile or an excessive scowl.

I just saw these at my local TRU. Really nice job on the faces, for a toy store item. I could actually see Chris Pratt and Kurt Russell in the faces.

I'm still holding off on GOTG toys, however. Might buy if Gamora v2 looks good in person. All I see is v1 which looks awful.

I'd definitely recommend the new Gamora figure. The new printing technique worked really well on this figure. The updated resemblance to Zoe Saldana is uncanny.

I was excited for this set originally, but that looks nothing like Kurt Russell. Really bad likeness in my opinion. I do agree that this technology worked great with Gamora, and on Nebula too! It just looks bad here. Nothing like the prototype, that's for sure. Glad I waited and didn't preorder. I saw a ton of them at TRU last weekend.

Edit;

I took a closer look at the head sculpt on the packaging and compared it to the mass produced version. Now I see why it looks so different. None of the forehead lines, or wrinkles in the skin are in the final sculpt. It's like he had botox lol
