Finally! They're starting to hit, Daniel just showed up in my pile of loot. Great timing cause the franchise is arguably at its most popular right now.

Well that set is very cool. I was hoping we'd at least get Kreese and Miyagi to go with the Daniel and Johnny figures, but never expected the other Cobra Kai members. I guess it makes sense since they are all re-using the same bodies with just new headsculpts. Strange that there's still no Mr. Miyagi teased or revealed yet. Hopefully there's not a problem with getting his likeness rights from his estate. I'd like to see him get released with Daniel in casual clothes like the white/blue baseball shirt Daniel wore thru much of the first movie.

If they are going this deep with other characters, I also hope they eventually do the 2nd movie with Chozen too.

Wow. Just wow. Never would have imagined we’d EVER get figures of the whole crew. I think I’ll need to get this set just out of principle. Thank you, Icon Heroes.

new Tommy and bobby figures you cant even tell who they are.

Plus Dutch his hair in the movie was dyed that weird curly blonde hair

Yeah, pretty much in agreement with both these posts lol. Those likenesses range from not at all to rough and barely passable. But at the same time, it's pretty neat that this exists.

I guess I'm all in with this line now since they are doing the other Cobra Kai members, so I'll reluctantly get these variants. They better make a Mr. Miyagi figure eventually, or else this whole line will feel incomplete. As mentioned earlier, I really hope there's not a likeness rights issue with his estate. NECA was able to do the MEGO figure of him, so surely Icon Heroes can do him too. It's just strange that there's not even a hint of him coming yet. I'd love to see another wave with him, Daniel in casual clothes, and Johnny in the Halloween skeleton outfit just like the wave NECA did:

Icon heroes made a miyagi bobblehead so im assuming its not a rights issue. I'd guess that it's just financially easier to base an entire line of figures (so far) on one mold (with only head & arm variantions) than to R&D an entirely new mold and get only one or two uses out of it.

Yeah its irking me they haven't made or shown a Miyagi. They'd have to make it better scaled, better articulated, if they want to trump the NECA one, and give some different expressions. Have to agree its probably a financial issue to make a new mold and sculpt for one figure they probably are doubting would sell alot. I mean they'd probably have to get a Happy Days license to get some reuse but, think interest for that IP is pretty much done. Other idea is maybe try to get some reuse making a Vidal but that's tough.

Most of the Cobra Kais look good enough and have thought before the Icon's version of Daniel and Johnny were a bit better than the NECA offering. But no Miyagi, no go.

Very pleased to see they are doing a Miyagi figure! As I mentioned in an earlier post, I hope they eventually do figures of Daniel in regular clothes and Johnny in his skeleton Halloween costume too, like what NECA did with their 8" figures.
