I recently saw them at TRU but was hesitant to get them,do they work well with most 6-inch figures, anyone have any experience with them? Thanks.

I bought a few sets of these when they came out because I was never able to find any McFarlane stands. They work really well with all my Neca figures of course. They seem to work for most DC Direct and DC Collectibles figures. They don't work well with DC Universe or Marvel Legends figures, unfortunately. I can't remember if I've tried them on any Marvel Select figures, so I can't really say for sure on that. If you need to peg the figure's right foot on the stand, the "Neca Made in China" stamp is on the front of the stand. It's no major problem, but it kinda bugs me because most of my DC Direct/Collectibles figures only have peg holes on their right feet.

They are made for 7' scale figures so they likely won't work for most any 6" line. I tried one once on one of my Star Wars 6" figures and it didn't work, not that the toy needed help standing but I just wanted to see and it didn't work. They're great for NECA's own figures and some of DCC's 7" scale figures but that's the scale they're meant for.

The bases are so random for all figures it is guess work. It fits for some NECA's perfectly, some older marvel legends...the thing is Hasbro keeps altering their peg sizes, I get a feeling one day they will try to create stands that can only fit legends.

So the stands work with most NECA;s...personally I like them, but they have really huge bases, so they do take some room. For example, having characters standing back to back migh be some what impossible bc the bases are so big.

Putting 2 pegs instead of one would have been a better idea considering the base size.

Or you guys can do what I do and spend 5 solid minutes trying to pose a figure to stand up and be perfectly balanced.

I love how some figures people say will never stand on thier own, like the old Masterpiece Seekers, and I have them on a high up shelf standing proud for years.

Can't believe NECA stampedmthat stuff on the top... Just moronic.

Some specific figures just can't stand independently, not necessarily every release of the same figure maybe, but some have loose hips/ankles. Some figures are just designed top-heavy with small feet because that's the character design. Some figures can't be posed to stand and endure without some level of support, that's just how they are. I have several toys from NECA that can stand alright for like a day but eventually tip because they have small feet Like the Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite who has very small feet with little surface area touching the shelf, I can't even use a base because of how shallow her peg holes are so I have to use another figure to balance her and a base to keep that figure supporting the both of them.

Compared to DC Collectibles' bases the stamps on these NECA bases are miniscule and entirely unnoticeable, though I am pretty sure most toy companies throw their logo on any non series specific base. Not that I even have a problem with seeing a logo at the feet of a toy, using a NECA base on a DCC or anything else doesn't ruin the display of the toy, and vice versa.
