I have stumbled across 5 different Ross stores recently while working in Orlando and only found one #36 Ultimate Iron Man. It almost seems like the nicer the store is, the less likely they will have action figures of any kind.

If that were true, mine would have the entire run of MU, Star Wars and GI Joe.
It's Mos Eisely without the music or drinks....and the surly barkeep is at ever register.

Can someone pick me up a comic whiplash if you see him? I'd practically sell my soul to get that figure...he's just too cool to not be in my collection.

sort of wondering where the stuff that made it to Ross came from, if it was target, TRU, walmart, or a mix of all 3. so far only found ultimate iron man at one.

I believe it's a conglomeration of leftover inventories from all three stores. I've seen the Tron Legacy CLU lightcycle (a Wal-Mart exclusive) in a Ross store as well as other exclusives from Target.

The tri-languages indicate to me that they weren't originally meant for the US, but didn't sell well somewhere else...

I popped into Winners hoping to score some DC Universe Classics (No other place seems to carry these anymore) but no luck. Instead there was a plethora of Comic Series Iron Monger. No Mandarins or anything else. I just traded away a Mandarin to a fellow Arker (I bought an extra way back when I wanted to customize him). I also ended up trading away Ultimate Iron Man, Modern Warmachine, Comic Series Iron Monger and Comic Series Whiplash to another Arker way back for some MU and I gave another Ultimate Iron Man away to another Arker who needed him. I got those from a full box from an online seller and it had multiples and probably worked out to around $13.00 per figure. LOL. The other Mandarin, I paid too much for. Kind of good that I didn't find them at my Winners or I'd feel semi-cheated. There's a good chance they were there and I missed them but no biggie.

Off topic, I was about to say your name was a bit distasteful but I see you joined in September. That's just eerie. LOL.

I had a few extra bucks kicking around and have been meaning to buy these figures off an ebay seller for a while, finally got myself mandarin, comic whiplash, ultimate iron man and the removable mask war machine, all 4 for $45 , including taxes and shipping, not bad IMO.

I bought War Machine at Walmart a long time ago. They only got one case in at that time so all the others were of course gone.

I checked another Tuesday Morning but they only had Arctic Iron Man.

If someone can pick me up an Ultimate Iron Man, I'd cover costs. Or trade for new stuff you need.

I've seen both the Iron Man 2 figures and the Thor figures at Walgreens Pharmacy (US), so depending on if those count for MU, there ya go.

Merchandise Unloading? No those dont count. I was referring specifically to the Mandarin wave #36 through #39 .
I think all the Albertsons closed around me.
I am only a little fascinated by this unloading because a similar thing happened with the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom wave. It was never sold at the big three but did sell a lot at Meijer's and Krogers and a few others out west .
Is this a new trend for Hasbro ? Then a few months later a seller in China has over 170 cases and tries to sell them at high prices.
