I never saw it in stores and I hunted all over for it. Finally picked it up on bbts.com.

It may yet make it to the East Coast - probably via Ross or TJ Maxx - but it has been seen on the West Coast. It is most likely due to retail stores not being able to sell through their IM2 stock that they didn't order this wave or the proposed wave behind it (with War Machine and Iron Man with removable helmets). This was a terrible case of too many IM armors, not enough diversity and just not that much demand for a figure that was essentially released 3 or 4 times previous within the MU figures and comic packs.

I know I will find him one day. Appearently around my area my buddy has seen a lot of Cyborg War Machines. So I think I will find Mr Orange when I least expect it.

A Toys R Us a little ways up the Highway has about 9 pegs packed from front to back of about the same 4 figures.. All movie armors.. I've never seen anything but the first wave.

My TRU has 24 pegs (counted them) packed, and another 3 of the same deluxe figure on clearance (clearance my butt, $1 off isn't gonna move those...)

I'd also be interested in mandarin and ultimate iron man. I missed out on the bbts reorder anticipating funding them at sdcc but they didn't have anything.

I never saw them in the wild either and I picked up mine from BBTS, kept mandarin and sold the rest.

well, I figure that they will have to end up somewhere - maybe Disney World? (Disney owns Marvel) - which is why I wonder about a discount store getting them, much like GI Joe vehicles that have been canceled in recent months or Transformers RTS more recently (Hasbro has been cozy with discounters, particularly Ross, lately). Who knows? But since the movie has been out of the theaters for over a year now, I doubt stores are ordering more figures, which means these are like the lost ark, locked in cases in a warehouse somewhere

I effin hate them too. I called target regarding the latest mu wave and the guy said they had a bunch of dr strange figures. He asked if he should hold one for me but also said they had a lot. I told him that I was going to go there to just get one but if some bitch came and tried to nab all of them to slap him around before I got there. Damn scalpers. I want a mandarin and ultimate iron man figure so bad.

I really get having a bit of markup if you're selling... collecting is an expensive hobby, and a lil profit here and then to ease the wallet pain is fine. But if I'm selling something people want, I'm thinking like... $14-20, tops. It pissed me off to see the first Sif figure on ebay with a $65 buy it now.

i know we like to gripe about scalpers, but its the desperate nerds with deep pockets that keep buying from them are to share the blame for keeping the scalpers in business to begin with.

What this guy said, I mean personally if I had to constantly relist an item due to no bidding you'd think maybe lower the price. But you can some anxious person with deep pockets who wants to be the first and only cat on the block to have it first ruins it for us all. I believe this line is still available on bbts. But I would want ultimate IM, Comic whiplash, and Mandarin, that' cyborg/battle damaged war machine is a meh.

I've seen decent prices for ultimate iron man, its fricken mandarin that is way inflated in price due to its rarity like solid vision or x force warpath. I know its all part of the gig here and I'm just venting is all.
