I could never find a Whiplash in my area, so it'd be nice to get a second chance. Though I wouldn't sneeze at a armored Whiplash either.

The Drones will be fun for the army builders.

I don't think Whiplash was "released" just kind of leaked. He obviously will sell incredibly fast as he is one of the few villians they seem to be releasing with this line so I think they want to get Iron Man out the way and have him sold before they put out a sure thing

So Black and Gold is probably Mainframe, but what about Windrazor and Munitions? Any ideas?

Whiplash is out. He and the drones are supposed to be part of the wave exclusive to the smaller chains like Big Lots, CVS, Wal-Greens and the Dollar variants (Store, Tree, Family, etc.).

Having said that, I do hope that this new Whiplash is indeed the Mk II. And it would be even better if the Black & Gold Iron Man does turn out to be a nod to Mainframe.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to when images of this wave come out.

Really?! Is it that they are indeed exclusive to these chains or is it that they are just showing up at these locations because TRU, Wal-Mart and Target are still fully stocked with the older waves and there is literally no more room for new inventory on the pegs? This is exactly what happened with the final waves of GI Joe ROC figures. I just want to make sure I'm looking in the right places before entirely giving up hope on TRU and the like.

those aren't exclusives they are normal waves, if they were exclusives we would have heard something about that, and the images of the packages are normal with no exclusive sticker.

Are you talking about the basic articulation figures that have somewhat fixed-poses?

Yes, sorry. Although I have heard of the newer waves of the regular figures showing up at those stores pretty consistantly as well.

That's odd, I thought that first Whiplash figure would have been out in one of the first waves.
But if it has not actually been officially released, then that'd explain why I've had trouble finding one in stores. lol

The reason I think it hasn't is because it isnt up on HTS or even BBTS. The only places to get em are on ebay and they run upwards of 40 dollars.
