At SDCC I realized something.. There's a strip of red missing over the stomach, here's a reference image
But what I noticed today look at this picture.. There looks to be a section for it.. COOL TOY REVIEW San Diego Comic-Con 2011 What do you think are the odds are this will actually be painted in the final version? |

Hopefully that's fixed on the final version as this is one of the few 6" IM's I'm going to pick up.

Wonder if for some reason they would make it removable, and they just forgot to include it? Makes no sense I know, but you know.....

I remember reading here on this forum that it was made known that the Iron Man was missing that paint app on his stomach. I think this could have been posted in another Marvel Legends thread.

Maybe someone has gotten their armors confused. The NTU (Neuromimetic Telepresence Unit) Armor was based on the Neo Classic armor, and it was missing that red strip. Just a thought.

That it was unfinished and would be produced with the red strip when the product was done. I'm only saying this from what I saw someone else post on the forum when all of that SDCC news was breaking.

Yeh this armour looks awesome, and a definate 6'' figure for me to grab, there's also a stark armour in blue 6'' scale that looks nice, I've gotten the other figures minus the hulkbuster armour.

I Grabbed T-man, Dynamo, and Initiative War Machine.. I already had the Iron Man figures from Walmart.. But Extremis and the Neo Classic are must haves.. Being new armors and all.. I don't really get any armors that aren't either in the movies or in the comics, although the racing armor is real cool

I'm thankful for this line of the movie figures otherwise we might never get some of the most demanded figures from the iron Man mythos

I mentioned this missing paint when they first showed the figure- the SDCC thing is just a prototype- and likely hand painted.
You'll also note that both the Neo-Classic and the EXtremis fig lack any metallic paint- hopefully that'll change for the actual run- my "Golden Avenger" armor IM from the IM/Maria Hill two pack looks great but it's in super bright yellow where gold should be! I really gotta repaint that! Hopefully they'll do right my shellhead like they did for the Silver Centurian armor- that's nicely metallic. Maybe we'll get lucky and this line will give us an accurate Stealth Armor- every other so far has been a cheesy repaint- and there's a TON of differences between te armors too! |

I give it a 50/50 chance that they'll paint the stripe. I didn't notice that until you mentioned it.
I know now and again stuff gets shown at Cons that aren't quite finished yet. Hopefully this is one of them. A comic accurate Stealth Armor would be nice. . Wait. That says it's available now.... Where? Last edited by Pros From Dover; 08-03-2011 at 02:11 AM.. |

That was the FIRST thing I said.. I asked a guy and he told me that they were making their way out to retailers now, and probably aren't actually in stores yet.
