So I just got the Mark VI Revoltech.. I had some extra cash after selling a few things on eBay, and I wanted to see what it was like. I've heard a lot of great things about Revoltech figures before. I got it, and I gotta say, the figure looks great and comes with a bunch of accessories (Three sets of hands, a base, and Repulsor blasts). I gotta say tho, I don't like the joints.. While they allow for good movement, I don't like the way all of them work. I won't say that I can't see what all the fuss is about, I'm just gonna say, it's not for me. That's not to say I regret buying it, I'm just not sure I'd buy another. Any of you guys have this figure and wanna share some thoughts about it?

I dont have this figure but ill comment on Revoltech figures in general. Although they look great when displayed, IMO they are too fragile and i've had some joints and hands break off inside of the arm because of this. That along with the price of 40+ is not worth it. Post pics of your iron man when you can.

I must agree. I got a revoltech dante figure. Visually they look great with tons of accessories but I find the arm joints fragile.

I do want this Iron Man though...just dont have enough money to shell out for it. I will say though the 4 Revoltech Transformer figs were well worth the price. |

The revoltech transformers are awesome. I got starscream and love the accessories he comes with. Megatron and optimus are on my want list.

The whole figure itself feels fragile, but it does look pretty awesome displayed! I also think some things move unnecessarily.. Like the grey section on his knee..
Here are a few quick shots in some traditional Iron Man poses. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by WindsofHorus; 07-27-2011 at 02:35 PM.. |

Very nice and expensive looking Iron Man collection, the figure is nice, but aside from it would love to see pics of the rest of you collection.

Iron Man is the Main thing I collect.. I really don't display much of my other non Iron Man figures.. I'm really banking on these new Marvel Legends to be great, because I plan on team building the Avengers with them. As for the money that went into.. A LOT.. And I just pre-ordered the Hot Toys Mark IV with Suit-Up Gantry... That's gonna hurt my wallet... I have no regrets.. I'll get some pictures up tonight for you tho

Thanks, Iron man aka Tony Stark is a huge focal point of my collection. After watching the first Iron Man movie, it fueled my desire to collect again, I have about 20-30 different figures ranging from 2''-15'' and everything in between, Mainly MU,ML AND MI, I have another MI iron man on it's way to me, along with some IM1 figures coming my way as well, I want to get the new ML Iron man and cap, nick fury etc figures. I'd love to have an avenger's collection in 3 3/4'' scale, 6'' scale and 12'' scale.
Pics coming soon! |

I've loved Iron Man since the 94 animated series.. Started reading the comics and then the Movies just really sealed him as my favorite character (I went through a phase where I was "Too old for toys/superheroes). I started really collecting around 2005.. By then I had missed most of the good Marvel Legends, but I'm only missing 3 Iron Man Variants (Both Series 1 and Face Off War Machine)
Pics coming soon! |

Iron Man or Wolverine always end up being the first figures I buy from a Line. I just gravitate towards those 2 more than anyone else it's just weird for me. My 1st Hasbro ML was Ult. Iron Man then Ult. Wolvie. My 1st Toy Biz ML Astonishing Wolverine (masked) then Thorbuster IM. First 3.75 figure 90's Wolverine (XMOW) then Iron Man (stealth). That cycle got broker with the 2011 MU's though cause the 1st wave only had iron man & not Wolvie.

I love it. I know a lot of people aren't too keen on the RT stuff, but I really dig the figures in general. The Iron Man figure is no different. I have the Mark IV in my Pile O Loot at BBTS and the War Machine on preorder.
I am quite the Iron Man fan myself. I've been a fan for 20+ years. I have a full run of the comic books from the 1967 #1 to present, all but two of the Marvel Legends figures (the gold first appearance and the gold variant from wave 1) as well as a full set of the first Iron Man movie figures as well as a full set of the Iron Man 2 figures.....including the unreleased mechs: TheProsFromDover on deviantART Gonna start working on the Toybiz figures next. |

I just won the series 1 gold variant on ebay last night! Only 2 Marvel Legends left for me! As for comics, My earliest is Tales of Suspense #62. I hope to one day have the complete series, but I have a whole lot of wholes to fill. Last edited by WindsofHorus; 07-31-2011 at 09:53 AM.. |

Congrats! I am bidding on one right now. That will leave just one. I had a chance to buy the other one for a decent price, but I gotta watch my budget for a while. |

I have just 2 MLs left for Iron Man and 1 Mandarin to get. The 2 I'm missing are probably the two rarest.. The Faceoff War Machine (and the Red Variant Mandarin) and the Series 1 Stealth armor. Good luck on your auction!

The stealth blue series 1 Iron man is pricey minimum $100+,then shipping and tax, especially if it's MOC,looose is still 50+, I actually recently bought a loose gold and regular version series 1 figures for cheap, they have no masks or stark industries backdrop base, but I'm hoping to find someone with loose bases and masks or find a site that makes the copies of the masks and I can just paint them myself. I've been lucky to get most ML Iron man figures, minus the faceoff 2packs, the IM movie variants, some are hard and rare to find, having $$ helps lol.

I lost my auction So it goes. I passed up the Stealth armor when I saw it in the store, still kicking myself for that. I did pick up a MOC one while I was working in Afghanistan as a treat for myself. The Faceoff War Machine was one of the one's I also needed until recently. I got him on ebay for a decent price. He's loose, but at least he has the face mask. Just need that pointy head Wave 1 variant and the gold 1st app. Here's some shots of my stuff: Marvel Legends/1st movie: ![]() Customs: ![]() My unreleased IM2 figure: ![]() Not pictured: ML 1st appearance MOC ML Stealth variant MOC My entire IM2/MU collection. I have them all. I don't have them on display since I play with them frequently. Hot Toys Mark III Hot Toys Mark IV Last edited by Pros From Dover; 08-02-2011 at 01:30 AM.. |

I just gotta say that I'm gonna say that I have to say.. that the OP says the he has gotta say like 15 times in his original post.. haha. I'm not trying to make fun of anyone, I just noticed it for some reason and thought it was funny.
On another note.. I didn't realize so many of us had solid IM display/collections. He's just always been my favorite so I have one, but apparently a lot of us do!
