I'm sure I'm not the only one who's seen pegs start showing up in the toy aisle for Iron Man All Stars figures. I was under the assumption (based on BBTS's pre-order prices) that these were for the new IM3 figures.

I was at Meijer last night and it was the same story; IM All Star Pegs and no figures... but a few spots over I found Spider-Man Ultimate All Star figures.

Rather simplified, even for Spiderman toys, the only points of articulation were at the hip, shoulder, and head. I hope this isn't what we're getting for IM3 toys.

I almost snagged the blue one, just because it was cast in translucent plastic, but they had new MU figures, so I opted for them instead.

The little spiders are a cool addition, but will probably only grab the one that looks most like it bit him.

I think I still have one of those spiders from the Spectacular Spider-Man figure I bought way back when. The one with the webpack would be worth it if it was cheaper. 5.99 for accessories and a happy meal toy isn't worth it man.

Unfortunately that might be true. The Wal-Mart around here only has movie crap and ABSOLUTELY NO MU (not even a space) and Target only has freaking Falcon. I HATE Falcon.

Guys, it's worth noting that this is not the main 3.75" line for Ultimate Spider-Man. The "All-Stars" figures are different.

This is the main line:

Even then those All-Star figs don't even look that great. Poor poor Ultimate Spidey with these horrendous figures.

I can't wait to see what the Avengers Assemble 3.75" figures look like. Oh wait, no I don't.

Hasbro better have some amazing Marvel Universe figures to show off at ToyFair to make up for every other 3.75" Marvel line becoming bullshit. I wouldn't care if all the rest of the figures went to shit if it means high quality MU.

Just in case anybody's looking for these, they were at the Meijer outside of Perrysburg (Suburb of Toledo) on RT 20.

Yeah I've never heard of Meijer.

Hope it hits other stores soon. I'm actually interested in at least seeing these with me own eyes.

At $5.99 at least they're not full-price.

$5.99? Yeah, that's about right. For that price. Now if you had said $10, we'd have a problem.

wow these look pretty bad, might have to stick with lego for my ultimate spiderman fix. I have a bad feeling the main line figures will be the same quality. Hopefully the 6 inch line will be better.

Fail is fail. This is just a different flavor... of FAIL.

Hope the kids enjoy these under-articulated "all stars."

Well the main line seems to look better but let's wait until we have hands-on with them, eh?

Kids don't care that they're under-articulated. Trust me, I don't want Iron Man 3 to be like this but these are lines based on cartoons specifically for kids. WatXM had limited articulation, IM: Armored Avenger had even less. That's just par for the course.

So as much as I'd LIKE better articulation, I don't think it's the end of the world.

And at least in my area, those sold even worse than the movie lines.

I believe I've already addressed your "optimism" in another thread, so this isn't surprising me in the slightest. The main line has been junk for the past few years. These actually look like a step back.
