Really glad this is coming out, I was really thinking about buying the whole wave from BBTS and selling everything else off, but $30 straight is good for me!

Nice! I own the BAF version but will probably get this one to as I dig the more comic/cartoon likeness (the BAF one can then go on to plague my Netflix show figures)

just pre-ordered, my current one has now been possesed by shadow king I'm glad i didn't sell that head, also worth keeping the old king pin heads as well i guess , might need to paint his eyebrows black. I hope they release more images of new figures though

So how different is he from the BAF? Is he a straight re-release?

I just looked, the BAF had an all white suit, and also a tie. This is colored and has an ascot. I'm wondering if the ascot is just on top of the tie or just a different piece.

Also the screaming head on this one is battle damaged, the other one was just yelling.

He looks fat in his cardart, but his figure just looks like he is extremely buff.

The art is a recreation (or at least very close) of the art from the old Toybiz toy which was explicitly based on the '90s cartoon in which Kingpin was very wide. This figure is a redo of the BAF from last year which depicted a less exaggerated Fisk. Therefor we have a discrepancy between box-art and actual product.

Yeah I wouldn't even really want a figure that looks like the card art (or something like the Into the Spider-Verse Kingpin.)

Despite the retro animated style packaging, the colors on these are actually based on Kingpin's classic comic design.

One of the best comic book cartoons ever. A Series dvd needs a dvd set.

Not that I am overly familiar with Spidey stuff or anything, but that cardart is actually the first time I ever saw Kingpin depicted as fat-ish... I mean like E-Honda fat. I always thought Kingpin was just an overly big dude... like how Reinhardt is overly big compared to everyone else in OW.

Kingpin is comically large-framed to be sure but classically Fisk was also meant to appear fat, he was very round. This was to give it an element of surprise when it turns out he's actually quite muscular beneath that fat and is a very competent fighter, so bringing up E Honda is actually appropriate. Fisk's ploy worked quite effectively against Red Skull who assumed he was just up against a "fat man" before getting his ass handed to him.
