I love the x-men 6 pack. I want more!
so I decided to throw around some broad ideas on what would make great 6 packs

Hail Hydra!
Madam Hydra, Baron Strucker, Grim Reaper, and 3 Hydra Troopers

S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Sharon Carter, and 3 S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents

H.A.M.M.E.R.
Norman Osborn, Victoria Hand, Superia(post siege hammer), and 3 Hammer Agents

S.W.O.R.D.(You see where I'm going with this)
Abigail Brand, Beast, Sydren, and 3 S.W.O.R.D. Agents

Latveria
Dr Doom, Lucia Von Bardas, The Tinkerer, and 3 Doombots

A.I.M.
M.O.D.O.K. and 4 Aim Agents(Modok counts as 2 :3)

Thunderbolts
Atlas, Citizen V(with Removeable Cape, jacket, and Baron Zemo Head), Moc V, Fixer, Moonstone, Songbird

Savage Land
Kazar, Shanna the She-Devil, Zabu, Sauron, Garokk, and Savage Wolverine(To appeal to the distributers with an Alister)

New Mutants
Magyk, Cypher, Cannonball, Sunspot, Danielle Moonstar, Warlock
(Variant Classic Uniforms)

X-Factor
Strong Guy, James Madrox, Banshee(Syrin), M, Rictor, Shatterstar

Alpha Flight
Guardian, Vindicator, Puck, Sasquatch, Northstar, Aurora

doing good so far? The Brilliancy is in the fact that many of these dont need new tooling. and Hasbro does love to repaint things.

Sounds good to me but with the reuse of figures we'll see 6 packs like this:

Cap America, Bucky, Crossbones, Red Skull, Winter Soldier, WW2 Cap

Thor with helmet, Frost Giant, Loki, Odin, Frost Giant, Thor without Helmet

Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine

I'm just saying...

I'm sure if they release any more 6-packs they will include 2 people you would really like and 4 iron man/spiderman repaints.

I love the 6-pack too. There's another thread where we were discussing other possible team packs.

My picks were:

X-Men Gold Team: Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Gambit, Psylocke and Rogue

X-Men Blue Team: Storm, Archangel, Colossus, Jean Grey, Iceman and Bishop

X-Force (Liefeld): Cable, Cannonball, Domino, Shatterstar, Feral and Warpath

New Mutants: Cannonball, Dani Moonstar, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Magik and Warlock

Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: Magneto, Mystique, Toad, Blob, Pyro and Avalanche

X-Factor: Havok, Polaris, Multiple Man, Quicksilver, Strong Guy and Wolfsbane

Sinister Six: Doc Ock, Vulture, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio and Sandman

Alpha Flight: Guardian, Northstar, Aurora, Sasquatch, Snowbird and Puck

Ofcourse, but that is how these packs remain viable to them (Hasbro).

As dumb as this sounds, if they keep it the killer box w/ awesome artwork (speaking about the 35th set), then I'd probably drop some $ on these sets whether I needed the figures or not.

..at some point in my man-child collecting phase I started really appreciating nice packaging, artwork, etc.

There should be ones based on events like:

house of m: Scarlet witch, Wolverine, hulk, dr doom any of the frightful 4 members, & nightcrawler, spider woman, toad, mystique, & rogue (2 in the regular pack & the other 2 in the variant pack)

Avengers disassembled: Hawkeye, a revised version of Vision, Ant man, Scarlet Witch, Wasp, Jack Of Hearts as a zombie, & maybe some Ultrons

Siege: Void, Iron Patriot (with interchangable heads & the Norman head with facepaint), Scourge, Maria Hill, Steve rogers in his uniform at the end, Ares & a HAMMER agent

Young Avengers: Wiccan, Hulkling, Patriot, Stature, Speed, Iron Lad,

&for the rest of the sets i'd like just hit up the dream sets thread since I don't like to be redundant lol

I just came up with an awesome idea for a custom Void. Since Void has appeared much like Paralax from Green Lantern, I'm going to get me a Parallax and paint it black instant Void

Yeah, I seriously doubt we're going to get a 6 all new figures pack. Or even something as large as Modok plus repacks. The X-men one was basically just new heads on two figures and nothing else. (And colossus shoulder pads)

Of course, for people who didn't get the comic packs, or missed Colossus, that does make it a good deal.

My bet is any future versions of this that we see are going to be team packs of figures that already came out. It's a great way to get someone new into the line. I said the same thing with Star Wars all the time: Kids are being born every day, not all your customers have been there from the beginning.

Even the three packs just seem to be repaints with an extra accessory figure. Or was until we got wind of the Guardians of the Galaxy Groot and Rocket Raccoon pack. Personally, I'm okay with that. I'd rather buy the figures individually than wind up with more duplicates I don't need, and leave the awesome team packs for the new collectors who just want one team.

(That's how I jump started my Star Wars collection after 8 years away, was with those "pointless" multipacks of characters everyone else already had)

Personally I'd see Agents of Atlas as a possible Con Exclusive down the road
But also personally, I really hated X-Statix. The art was terrible and I hated the characters. even Doop

Personally I want to see none, I have no local TRU and the Canadian site suks balls compaired to the American site, not nearly half the selection, which is bizarre. I have yet to see any of the new wave stuff, captain america, gigantic battle deluxe sets, new iron man, wave 2 thor etc.... but my hunting is limited due to no vehicle and limited money, but still need me some more plastic crack num num num. 6pack of sinister 6 and aim, shield, etc all worthy selections will they do it.. doubtful some stupid wolverine, spiderman, iron man orgy boxset repainted like they're cheap whores wrapped in plastic, fuck the repaints, give us fresh sculpts and new characters! more females, more villans, more accessories, more vehicles and playsets, and then set.
