There was one with SDCC Jabba, hopefully they will re-release it.

I went ahead and backed it myself. I have been a Star Wars fan since it came out in 1977. I am with everyone else, I hope this leads to bigger and better things for all us Hasbro toy Fans.

every time i go to the webpage to cancel it i go...but mann..it does look good.
and look at the size..
and it'll be a serious collectors item
and what if i don't get it and then it's IMPOSSIBLE to get and i want it later...

^ It's Jabba's Sail barge... not something iconic like a Star Destroyer or Medical Frigate or even a new Imperial Shuttle. And I mean it is not like you can add that thing to your Star Wars fleet display with all the other cool ships... it will probably just be displayed by itself... gathering dust.

I don't know,I think come next year a lot of people will be sorry they don't have this. Fact is if you want it,buy it now. It will be twice the price or more next year.

Comedian..that is NOT what i asked for...lol

so my 5th time on the website..i actually called.
talked with Tiffany who sounded like a cutey ;o)
she was like.."are you surrrrrrrre you want to cancel it"
i told her no i'm not..and i'm having a rough time here.
Anyway I did it with a a heavy heart, but I cancelled that sumbitch!!

@MeLikeJinx. I was thinking...what would this thing be doing 4 years after owning it....and you're prob right...sitting colelcting dust..and i don't even collect 3.75 SW figs.

Oh well...done deal...it's gone!!!

so they need to adjust their number from 8,810 to 8,809
heh..

They should offer up the cancelled sail barges instead of just cutting the number down.

I guess they assumed it's too big for package thieves to even bother? At least there's some reasoning to that explanation, early last year I was building a new computer and the people I ordered a brand-new motherboard from just shipped it by slapping the shipment sticker on the product's box. It basically screamed easy money for thieves.

Do you collect any superhero figures? If so save the box. With a little work you could create a skyscraper for them.

CCC.

It’s a shipping box, then a carton box, then the product. It’s a beast.

What do you mean by backer only? $500 is out of my price range though.

It was a kickstarter type deal that Hasbro set up called Hasbro Labs. They weren't going to make it until they had enough backers, and once the goal was met, they were likely to not build any extras outside those who backed it.

this.

I have no room and zero realistic reasoning for owning it, but I couldn't not...?

also, as much as I want to punch hasbro in the junk most of the time, the haslab scenario has soooooo much potential for greatness. had to support.

and like others have said, the re-sell market on this thing going to get bananas, so if I decide someday, and I have zero plans to, I can jettison it.

I knew when I got the booklet, I had made the right decision. so much love and care was put into that thing alone.

Well, if you're short enough, you could do this:

Incredible. I didn’t purchase one, but I am enjoying living vicariously through the people who are finally receiving their barges and posting pics. I would love to see one in person some day.
