We used to have those chains in MA in the late 7o's but ecoli took care of that. I still want to go to an In & Out Burger or real Johnny Rockets or Sonic where they come out to your car.

I imagine like my sister (Who's from NYC and not Dallas like me), for you it's about the experience rather than the food, but let me assure you that Sonic isn't as great as the commercials hype it. The food is pretty average. Not bad, but it's nothing spectacular, either.

It's honestly their drinks is where they shine.

And on topic... I love becon... I love icecream shakes.... but combining the two sounds godaweful. >_<

I have had a bacon shake. WITH REAL BACON. So with that being said, if you want one make sure it is home made for it is done right.
