Sgt Slaughter to be included in Build and Brawler line for wave 6 and Build a Pipers Pit with Wave 7, also including Piper himself.

Good news for both Wrestling and Joe fans I think.

And some of the classic figures should makes fans smile, like the Big Boss Man and a Trish Stratus LJN style figure.

This is great news!

I have a custom Sarge, but this is great for 'Joe fans who want him, as well as a cheap way to get a 3 3/4 Piper, as well.

I will be getting a Sarge and Piper, myself.

I have a custom sarge too, but this will provide a cheap alternative for both these characters. Plus how awesome will it be to build Piper's pit?

Yah, pics plz. And I'd heard Mattel was taking over the wrestling license effective 2009? Does this mean I don't have to fear Mattel bumfarking the BnB figs to have DCIH bodies? The BnB figs are the best custom bases for superheroes evar!

Even if they're just repacks or repaints, I'll still grab every Jericho fig they make as he's the best for customing out of a great line for customing.

I do know that the WWE let go of Sgt. Slaughters' rights, he now owns them himself, so I am hoping Hasbro gives him a call about Realeasing a Modern Era Slaughter.

Better yet, a 2 pack with Fridge as has been suggested.

LOD = Legion of Doom and yes they took the name from the old Superfriends cartoon

Sgt slaughter has been released from his job as a producer but I believe he still has a legends deal in place which could hold up his rights.
